Subway - King William District — Restaurant in San Antonio

I placed an online order today along with two orders from my partner and brother and said it would be ready by 4:40 and we walked in AFTER said time and still had to wait about 40 minutes for our sandwiches. The employees barely communicated and allowed all the walkins to get their orders before ours and didnt even try to hurry at that. The two girls working, moved extremely slow and even avoided trying to compensate in anyway. As someone who works in customer service as well as working for subway before, i find this very annoying. I came here because of the great reviews and my wife came here to figure out what she could eat without bread being involved as she needs to change her diet for recently being diagnosed with arthritis which she was sad about because she loves subway Tuna Sandwich.

Diane the crew member that assisted my wife with the suggestion of creating a Tuna protein/salad bowl was EXTREMELY helpful.

The store was well kept. The environment and atmosphere was friendly with great music variety.

The staff member that handled our order was alert, but hardly spoke English(did not speak Spanish either, he was perhaps East European...). This made it difficult to place the order. The other staff member emerged from the back only to deal with a customer who had tried repeatedly to place a phone order, but was not able to get a hold of anyone. I heard the phone ring for 3 minutes straight while I was in line. Sandwich was handled well; looks like they keep the place clean. Overall, it would have been nice if they staff had been...
