Subway — Restaurant in San Antonio

I’ve been here before and had some great/friendly encounters with the staff. Although they are understaffed and overworked, I’m always patient and understanding. Unfortunately, today was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had overall. I walked in at 7pm behind a couple of others that were already in the store. I overheard the employee talking to another customer about him closing after me (last person in line). I asked if he was closed, prepared to leave if he was. He said I would be the last person he would help before he closes. The store is supposed to close at 9pm but he was closing two hours before to “do some stuff”? That was besides the point. Not only was he rude but he was aggressively throwing my sandwich together and slamming the toaster oven shut. He was clearly upset that he was working, understandably so. But why take it out on a customer? Finally, at 7:30pm he made my sandwich. As I was grabbing my drink, he shut off all the lights and was fiddling with his keys in order to make me leave faster. I felt extremely uncomfortable being in a dark room alone with a man who is clearly agitated. Extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. Then as I was walking out, I called my boyfriend because I felt uncomfortable. The employee assumed I was talking to him and aggressively opened the door and said “what did you say?!?!” as if he was willing to argue/fight with me????? Unbelievable. Would never...

I’m so pissed off gentleman with a pony tail took care of 3 customers before me. He took money went then went to back of store came back with same gloves and tried to make my food. He even restocked the veggies, touch the refrigerator handles and went back to serving my food. I kindly asked him to change his gloves because he had touched money and the register three different times before changing his gloves. He then starts to put the veggies on my sandwich and had pizza sauce on his gloves and got everything dirty. He used the same knife and got pizza sauce on my tuna sandwich. Him and the woman looked very annoyed with me didn’t answer me or acknowledge me after I asked politely for gloves to be changed. Horrible service Some people may be OK with spreading germs on their food but I’m not. We got a meatball sub and a tuna melt I asked if they could be toasted and the cheese was not melted sandwich was cold. I ordered the pretzel in the picture. The Place Wasn't That Clean The Preparer Was Making Sandwiches In A Poor Unclean Manner. As I Stood There Watching Him Prepare A Customers Sandwich, Anytime Something Would Fall Off The Sandwich(not to/on the floor) He'd Stop And Pick It Up And Toss It Back Into The Bend It Came From. Also Eventhough Covid-19 Is Not As Bad As It Was It's Still Around And Causing Illnesses, So When I Asked Him If He Could Put On A Mask Before Making My Sandwich He Got Offended And Began To Display A Nasty Obnoxious Attitude And Said I Don't Have No Mask And The Worst Thing About It Was The Fact That The Worker Was Breathing Exceptionally Hard With His Mouth Wide Open While Preparing The Customers Sandwich!!
