I’ve given this particular Subway two shots so far. My first experience was incredible, the lady was kind, my combo was perfect… The sweet tea was delightful, the cookies were fresh, my sandwich was beautiful. It wasn’t cut into 1/3 but it was enjoyed all the same. I love Subway, particularly for the great deals!
My latest experience wasn’t particularly my favorite. I ordered pickup through the app hours in advance. I realized my car wouldn’t start earlier on. I called and called only to be greeted with “Sorry your call did not go through please try your call later.” I also called T-Mobile next door, as crazy as it sounds, to see if maybe someone there could go by and talk to Subway, but the person that I spoke with mentioned they were busy at the time.
I’m not sure whether or not I would’ve been able to cancel my order had the phone been working, but it would’ve been nice to postpone my order for later on in the week. I ended up going to the store a couple days later, once my car was working again, to at the very least relay the phone issue I had. I let the person behind the counter know my situation, they asked for more detail, I relayed that I tried calling, to which they responded, “yeah, our phone’s been down”. I was ultimately told another sandwich couldn’t be made to make up for the one before. I knew the likelihood that they’d make up my meal was slim, however, it doesn’t make sense to have asked all the details of my order if it was predetermined nothing could be done. It’s also disappointing that this building is aware of their phone issue, and the way it was suggested is as if the phone has not been operational for quite some time.
Past that, one of my subs seems like it was made on stale bread. I ordered two for the foot long bogo deal, one was standard, one was not the greatest. When I was ready to eat the second half of the second, I took out the toppings, wrapped a damp towel around the bread, and microwaved it (beside a glass of water) for 30 seconds in attempts to revive. Thankfully, it did the trick. I
All in all, I feel like a simple, “Sorry to hear about your car, unfortunately we are unable to replace your combo due to policy, we are aware of the phone issue and are working on getting our phone serviced,” would’ve been a better way to handle the situation. Some empathy.
Regardless, the subway is kinda tucked away, but a very solid location in my opinion. The inside seems clean, very family oriented, two families were enjoying meals during my second visit. I’d highly recommend downloading the app if you are enjoy subway. It seems like they have year-round deals for different menu items, sometimes more than one deal at...
Read moreI use to love coming to this subway, but it seems as though they have changed staff and it has not seemed the same ever since. Before, I was always greeted and helped by Russell, who I’m not sure is there anymore, but he provided phenomenal service.
Everyone else I have experienced there has been non friendly and quite rude! I have been in line and hear an employee grunt or sigh heavily as customers walk in. I have had someone talk back to me rudely for no reason as I explained how I wanted my sandwich a specific way.
And my most recent experience this passed weekend, Friday night I believe. The person was not friendly, did not ask if we wanted chips and a drink, just gave us our total without asking or offering, we purchased chips too and left with NO DRINK, (I even witnessed that happen with the customer before me & the employee told him to just grab one of the bottles from the fridge)
and they did not even cut our footlong in half!!
PLEASE RETRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES OR HIRE PEOPLE WHO CAN AT LEAST TRY TO ACT HAPPY AND HELPFUL. YOU ARE LOSING MONEY WITH YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYEES.
I know it gets busy and I understand sometimes they leave 1 or 2 workers in the store, but having a negative attitude will surely not make your shift any better or go any quicker, and I’m speaking as a former...
Read moreWell,,me and my family love subway and eat there on weekly basis however it’s been twice that we’ve been to the one on Bandera point and we’re been very disappointed by the way we were treated as it has been on both occasions very disrespectfully by one of the staff which I made sure to get her name “lynzee” so I can give a specific feedback on her and will make sure to call subway costumer care to give a feedback on that and will ask them to check their cameras if possible to see how me and my family were treated by her when we were there. She is giving a really bad image of the franchise as she has been so unprofessional, disrespectful and has a worrying lack of class! She was very rude for no reason whatsoever. She got our order wrongly which is fine but was angry when we told her that no that’s not what we wanted so she removed the chicken out of the sandwich and literally threw it back in the chicken bin and threw the bread back in the bread box so rudely that I had to tell her I think u should relax a little bit and then she replies back to me saying yeah you too!! They honestly have lost a costumer because of one unprofessional...
