Imagine a business where they take pride in what they do, and do things the right way.

Fresh Donuts is this nondescript little donut shop —and they are my favourite business in San Antonio. This place isn't stylish; there's no "decor". But it is always immaculately clean; nothing out of place, everything tidy and orderly. This isn't hipster donuts, where you're paying $5 for a "lavender mint cruller with salted caramel glaze"; they serve normal, traditional donuts here. But they are always fresh, always delicious, and always consistent: the donuts look like they could be photographed for an ad: perfectly shaped, uniform coverage of the icing, shiny glazes...

My favourite is the glazed blueberry cake donut, and I always add a chocolate ring with sprinkles, and the cost for TWO donuts is $2.70 including tax!

I'm completely happy every time I drive thru. Always fresh, always fast. Will always be my go-to on Austin Hwy when it comes to breakfast sandwiches. If you haven't tried the Vietnamese coffee, you're missing out.

12/19/23 =/ had a different employee serve me at the drive thru this morning. My two boudan colotchies were barely warm, and I was almost given a small vietnamese coffee when I asked for a large.

11/18/24, man, I love this place. I used to come daily but I've been coming every once is a blue moon because it's becoming expensive. The employees are great, always nice and the food is always good. But I felt gut punch today. My usual order used to be $12 and some change. Today was $17. I'm not going to stop going, but it's becoming hard to come by often. Anyways, keep up...

Rude-mean- Im a Latina an my friend is African American I went to go to ( fresh donuts ) because I have never been at this donut spot so I stopped here walked in and ask the man do you have warm donuts He said no . Me oh okay the lady that was at the counter was trying to explain to me that they only have warm donuts at 5 a.m I said oh okay I was still going to order just wanted to know when to get warm donuts he then told the lady something in his Language then told me just go to Krispy kream I was shocked so I left didn't bother to say anything to him except telling my friend that was with me at this time . I told my friend he doesn't want my business let's go.. mean people...
