Came HIGHLY recommended by an El Paso friend. We had the "chuco's tacos," and they were so bomb!!! Chicos Tacos is famous in El Paso, and well, these were a little better. The menudo with bolillo bread, YES! Because who the hell eats menudo with tortillas🙄 the menudo was really good. I mean GOOD. They even had capirotada! Friendly staff. Very small space. The place looks dingy and dirty and really needs to be updated. It's not nice, really. The outside isn't very attractive either. So definitely a hidden gem for us El Pasoans that appreciate REAL Mexican food.

Oh my goodness, what a place! It's totally worth the 20-minute drive for us from work. Greeted at the door and seated quickly. Chips and Salsa came out right away for us to start looking over the menu. Boy, there's a lot of delicious sounding and looking plates, tacos and desserts! Food was D E L I C I O U S! There's flavor on everything and just the right amount of spice. I will definitely return but next time with my family to enjoy! Thank you to everyone in making my first time a memorable one 💥

Great little place with really good food. Friendly people serving you (with masks). Maybe 6 booths and 2 long tables. I ate here twice, both breakfasts. The portions are on the small side, but is very tasty and JUST ENOUGH to leave you satisfied. The prices are really good too. Great Mexican food. Chilaquiles, really good. They use like tostitos corn chips instead of house made chips, but still good. I think its family run. I recommend!!

I'm sorry but this place was horrible. I went in with my family and after about 10 minutes of sitting down we finally get a waitress to take our order, mind you there was only one other table. Then she got our drink order wrong, there was 10 of us so we understood maybe it may have been a little difficult so we didn't get upset. Then from when the first plate came out to the last plate it was a total of 30 minutes. We went in as a family and wanted to eat as one, not sit and watch each other eat. Then once the food did come out the rice was very cold, the refried beans tasted as if they came right out of the can and the quesadillas looked like a taco filled with cheese with a sliver of chicken. The waitress afterwards did not come back to the table to ask how anything was, and to top it off I saw another waitress pop open a beer in the back, as if no one was watching. I don't understand how this place got a 4.5 star rating. If there was a way to put 0 stars I...

I have lived in San Antonio all my life; eaten at so many taco places, I can't count them. I ordered three chorizo and bean tacos. Simple order. Tacos arrive and I open them, to put some chile sauce on them, and there's no chorizo on them. I call the waitress and ask if they forgot to put the chorizo on them. She responds, "No, it's there. Don't you see it?" That's a question you ask of someone trying to find Waldo, not chorizo on a taco. I said, "No, I don't see it." She then says, "Well, that's the way we make them here."

I figure, oh well, I'll eat them anyway. As soon as I tasted the beans, I knew I was not going to be able to finish these. They were bad. I don't know why, maybe old, who knows. I left everything, coffee, tacos, everything. I was charged anyway. Avoid this place...

Menudo is the best in the San Antonio area. Only place where they serve it with bread instead of tortillas. Chucos Tacos are amazing! Service is excellent.

Haven't been there in a while and we stopped in today for breakfast or rather brunch. I love that I can sit here and say this place still has the best service and best authentic border style Mexican flavored food . Anybody who lives or traveling through San Antonio that is from El Paso , New Mexico or even California and if you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is the place. All these other Mexican restaurants in town tend to be more Tex-Mex. Hands down, this is the real deal as the owner himself originates...
