Generally, I try to write only positive reviews (as you can see with my history). However, I felt discouraged to ever used Whataburger's late night service ever again.
I had ordered a standard breakfast meal with some extra items through the drive-thru using the mobile app. I did not bother to check the bag when I left (so this is mainly my fault), but when I got home I only had the extra side item that I had ordered and the drink but not the main meal and all that came with it. I went inside to see if they could correct my order but they stated that they were sure they had put the items in the bag.
I had recently come out of a 12-hour shift and did not want to argue with anyone. I really just wanted my food and to go home. I even offered to pay for the items again because I understand that they do get issues like this and that some people can lie. There was not issue with me paying an extra $10.00 for some items. The manager (I did not get her name but she stated that she was the overnight manager) was the one that stated both she and her staff put the correct items in the bag. After I offered to pay for the items again she went ahead and corrected my order, free of charge, but you're maybe wondering why am I writing this review if they went ahead and corrected it..
I am thankful that it did not escalate into a more complicated issue and that they were able to correct my order, however, I am limited with options when coming home this late at night and I truly felt bad when they thought I was lying to the point where it has come to me writing this review.
Personally, I more than likely will not attend this location again. It is the closest to me when I'm leaving work this late but I'd rather not go through this trouble again.
I want to thank the staff for correcting my order, but also would like to address that they should be careful with double-checking the orders to making sure that all items are given to the customer.
I hope this review helps the team and their future...
Read moreI had a large order and when i showed up it was not ready so i had to wait even tho the store was not busy. I get back to my facility and discovers the order was not right. Burgers made incorrectly, missing items and wrong drinks. I called the store to say what happened. First i was left on hold for 10 mins i had to call back then the manager decided to come to the phone. My first issue is that they were willing to take food from a medical facility to correct their mistake . The manager on duty was very rude. It was explained that the food was at a medical facility and it was multiple orders and that the food that was available was distributed to the respectful parties. I let him know I worked at a hospital and bringing back the food was not sanitary and a health risk. He says I will waste it and remake the whole order. I repeat again I can't cause I dispersed the items that were available already and I am at a hospital. He says to me you did not check the bag before you left? I explained it already has to wait for the mobile order to be prepared 20 min after arriving to pick up. I said I can bring the receipt but he wanted all 5 orders brought back . Again unsanitary!! I asked his name and he said Richard. I let him know i was calling corporate he stated go ahead they're not going to do nothing!! Then proceeded to hang up in my face. The missing items were my lunch . So not only am I out of a meal I paid for there are others disappointed and I am out of my money. I would not advise patronizing this whataburger because they feel it's ok fir you to get a illness from food returned from a hospital. Then the attitude and disrespectful tone was not necessary. I will be warning others not to patronize this store. You are better off going to the one off of Bandera . Sickening practices and un...
Read moreSee normally I donât have problems with this whataburger but tonight was different. I went through drive through to get food and as I pulled up to the window to pay I asked the lady may I use Apple Pay. She was rude and said âApple Pay is insideâ then proceeded to take another persons order. I asked her did that rule change or something cause when I come here they always allow me to use Apple Pay. I was here last week getting my goddaughter food to take to her at school and I used Apple Pay through drive through. She said âitâs always been that way, some people donât follow rules and allow customers to pay using it!â My thing is. Itâs literally my credit card and a form of payment. It takes literally 5 seconds to place the card reader outside the window and allow my Apple Pay to go through. If that is true about the rule. 1. Donât be rude Erica. 2. The whole management team needs to get together and start taking disciplinary action and make them follow the rule. But to one day allow it (and Iâve always used Apple Pay with this company) then to say âwe donât come insideâ all rude isnât good customer service. I went inside to get my food and the young lady sadly I didnât get her name but she has a neck tattoo and some pretty eyes. She helped me. I asked to pay for my food and to get the management number and she took time away and got me that. Even gave me the rude lady name, Erica. It was annoying and if I wouldnât reacted with the same energy Erica gave me I wouldâve then been looked at wrong. Please fix your ârulesâ and train your employee better. If every one allows Apple Pay through drive through what is the issue about it with Erica? Smh...
