I have been with Aspire when it was RMA. I don’t know what has happened in the time when it was acquired by Aspire and the entire Covid ordeal but I am increasingly frustrated by the lack of human interaction. They used to be super attentive and considering it took almost 4 years to have a successful pregnancy, I got to know the staff and team very well. Now that I am ready to start a sibling cycle, I can’t get anyone to return my emails or phone calls without following up. I am allowing 4-5 days between follow-ups to give them a chance to respond but it’s just not the same. The new patient portal is not user friendly. You cannot reply to messages but are forced to create a new message. If you forget what the message said, you have to back out of the email, find the previous email to open and read it before going back to your new email to respond. When you call, it’s an automated menu that doesn’t work all the time. Your medical team doesn’t have their extension # in their email signature. The active directory spells out who you are trying to reach more than half the time and you are scrambling to jot down what it is spelling to find it’s some default name of Hotel Aspire something something. Read moreBEWARE - DO NOT GO HERE. They are are crooks. My wife and I went against our better judgement based on the reviews. We went in for a consultation which was covered by our insurance, we did no labs, no tests, nothing other than chat for 30 minutes. We decided not to go with their services as it wasn’t covered outside of the consultation.
We then went to the “billing department” was assured that our chat was covered by our insurance and a $75 copay. We paid it. We even made the joke about not getting a surprise bill right?!? Which the front desk lady said “no maam, you won’t be getting any surprise bills”.
Not even 3 weeks later we get a $500 bill for “New Patient Moderate Chat”. Showing we received a discount and the $75 credit. Owing $270. We called the billing company who is run by PRELUDE, they are amazing. They said “you don’t need to pay, Aspire needs to submit this to insurance call back in 2 weeks to verify it’s been taken care of.” It’s now been a month, I just got off with billing again who expressed their frustration saying ASPIRE is not answering their requests to bill to insurance but instead insisting on sending us to collections. Their own billing team now I escalating it with their management and going against ASPIRE.

Read moreI switched to Aspire from Fertility Center Of San Antonio. While FCSA was okay, Aspire makes me feel like a actual patient and not a number. I have tons of questions and I appreciate that my nurse and doctor take the time to answer them for me.
The only thing that can improve is the phone system. There's been a few times where I've missed a call and their VM asks to call back. I can never get ahold of someone unless I go through the new patient line /: I feel bad having to do that but it's the only way. Even the girls who answer tell me it's okay, others have to do the same thing as well. I'm glad they are happy to help. Same thing if I'm running late- I was stuck in traffic and wanted to call to let them know I was going to be about 5-10min late due to 1604 traffic.
