Whataburger — Restaurant in San Antonio

I really love Whataburger,Its been my favorite place since 1979 and will never stop eating it.I went in last night and service was not bad but only one person working front around 9 pm.First thing I saw walking in was a couple Bringing the food back because there were no fries on order but didn't think anything of it and ordered our food.Got home fries were the wrong ones and my burger was not correct and looked like someone walked on it and still ate it because i was hungry, Then My wife got sick from the chicken sandwich soo i called manager and explained, Then went into detail explaining that it is possible the somehow the chicken could be bad due to mis handling from the warehouse or commissary but told me that there is no way that was possible.I explained that I was a local chef and still said I was wrong.Wow! 30 years in the buisness and Worked under numerous chefs well known all over the world and trying to explain that there is always the possibility of food being contaminated at some point Always but was wrong.I really dont think I will ever go back again at this pibt after soo many small things together have compiled against the positive.Please say there is something or someone that can tell me something about this situation that Im wrong about any of this And i was in the wrong for feeling this way.I should have been a food critic.Also wanted to add the fact that I still ate my food after all that wich i did not until I was off the phone with the rude manager and food was wrong and making sure that my wife was ok after feeling horrible after eating the chicken melt.I still love Whataburger though,...

First time here and I find they charge for cheese slices?!? Ok then lol. I pay for my food and wait for my order. I'm there waiting a while with my family considering there's no line and only a few customers dining in. By this point I'm starting to regret wanting to try it. I'm hungry, my daughter is hungry, and I'm partly angry that a fast food place is charging almost as much as a sit in restaurant. As I'm still waiting I look down at the receipt and see that I was charged for the wrong expensive burger after already settling on something just to get lunch. For me that was the last straw. Since my order was still not out after waiting about 20 minutes, I let the manager know that they have me waiting for the wrong order and I just wanted a refund. Obviously he wanted to keep my money offering to fix it, but by then I was furious. I politely said no and let them keep my daughter's meal paid for so she could eat. Unfortunately, her kids meal was even less appealing than a happy meal. I guess us staying to feed our daughter touched someone's heart, because next thing I know they were coming out with the correct order on the house! I truly appreciate their attempt at correcting their customer service. They could have easily given me my money back and did...

I've been to this Whataburger quite a few times to give a fair review...First off, out of a total 6 sandwiches only 2 where sorta fresh(meaning the cheese actually melted)..the food was warm and the fries were hot. Half of my visits the sever handed my food in an upset manner talking to me with their back turned walking away at the same time stating "someone will be around shortly with ketchups"..it took 10 minutes by which I had already finished my food.. luckily, there was a ketchup pack already left by another guest that I used or else sadly I would've been out of luck...one of my visits I order 2 double meat with cheese. Only one of them had both slices required to make the burger actually taste like a double cheese burger.. the other only had one and you could barely taste the cheese. During this same visit the coke was tasting low on flavor and the Meer utterance of this to the front desk was meant with disbelief they had to "check for them selves" which took 5 minutes.. other than the employees having more fun policing for homeless and actually severing their guest this whataburger...
