Wok Inn — Restaurant in San Antonio

Went yesterday with a friend. Her food came with a load of nasty mushrooms and barely any meat. I got egg drop soup with rice in it. I went back with a new bowl to get more soup without rice so I could mix with the rice from the first bowl, there was virtually none left, I scooped and scraped as much as I could leaving with about 1/3 full. A customer from another table told a waitress there wasn't any left. So now they refill it after I scraped for nothing. So I got more. A few minutes later my friend and I are ready to leave so I wait a while standing for the cashier to finish a drive thru order so I can ask for boxes and a bowl. She's gives me boxes and gives me an option on which bowl I wanted, I told her the bigger one because my soup bowl was still full. My friend goes up and asks for a big bowl as well. I put my soup in the bowl and my friend fills hers from the soup stand. A rude waitress (the really short one) tells her she can't do that and has to pay for it. My friend agrees to even though no one told her. The same rude waitress tells me she's not sure about mine but I probably have to pay as well. So my upset friend pays, then the manager comes out. He tells us that they're supposed to fill to go bowls, not us. Seemed like he was going to let my friend and I just take the bowls for free but my friend had already paid. My bowl was just leftovers and he said it was fine. Why were we given those bowls in the first place? The cashier obviously made a mistake and I saw the rude waitress talk to her. Since it's their fault, the rude waitress should've handled it better. She could've been nice and told us that next time we can't do that or told us that she's not sure and she'll ask the manager. We went to lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There were only two other tables besides us. The lady at the counter was friendly. Took our order and then it went promptly down hill from there. I ordered a combo Singapore curry noodle. It took forever for my food to arrive. My husband was 3/4 way done with his food before the server came out from the back. I mentioned I didn’t get my food . She took a look a the order and grab a bowl from the counter and handed it to me. I took a look and said this is not my order. She took it back to the counter grabbed another and gave it to me again. Once again I told her I ordered the Singapore curry noodle noodles and this is not it. So she went back and this time the guy in the kitchen said we are working on it. 2 minutes later I got a bowl of noodle that was so salty that it was Inedible but they also forgot to put in the main ingredient curry powder. The server couldn’t careless when I mentioned. So I took the bowl up to the counter and asked for a refund. The lady at the counter was apologetic and I give her credit for redeeming the poor service and food. If it was not for her the restaurant would have received a 0 star. Worse...

I ordered food at 7:08. Received it hours later!

First I was called at 8:04 telling me I couldn’t have my drinks because they don’t do to go cups for delivery, but we’re still charged for the drinks. Then I tried calling them 3 times at 8:28 and was sent to voicemail. Then at 8:41 I called them again and was told my location was out of range so they couldn’t deliver the food to me. Then she hung up on me and I called back to speak to a manager and he informed me the driver was there. She was nice. My food was cold. I only got 2 fortune cookies when I had 3 meals. And I ordered two kids chicken nuggets that had 5 quarter sized chicken nuggets they were smaller than McDonalds and it came with sweet and sour sauce... isn’t it supposed to come with ketchup. Really disappointed the excuse of this was that there was only one drive and supposedly she didn’t know my location until she was already delivering my order.... after she delivered the other 2 orders before me ... that’s why my food was cold and thats why she took so long.
