I suspect all the 5 star reviews here are fake because we visited this place last night (6/11/21) and nothing was even good about it. I would like to start out by saying we as a couple like to try new places but always have a particular restaurant that hold as a gold standard and compare other restaurants to that one. But here we go.
It's weird to say, but the sweet tea was the most flavorful part of my entire dinner. We both had egg drop soup and sad to note no flavor. They had hot oil which was good but didn't really help, just burned a little more without the addition of flavor but whatever it's hot oil. We also tried the fried dumplings which were very tasty and I suspect that's because I don't think they make them in house. I would put money on being able to buy them at sam's or Costco. They were plainly frozen and not fresh at all. You can tell because the wrapper was tough with just the outer shell crispy. Next I have the chicken curry, which is know for it's freshness and delicious flavors using fresh vegetables and usually almost a soup. Well, curb your enthusiasm because this was the dullest, most boring, chicken curry ever. The only 'flavor' was how spicy it was. And to top it off, it was obviously just premade in a big pot and a scoop or two was placed on my plate. The chicken was well over cooked. The side of fried rice was fine but nothing earth shattering.

Read moreI was thoroughly disappointed with my visit here. I stopped by with my family, since we had just come back from spending the day at the river, and decided to pick up some food before heading home. I have never been to a restaurant and had to wait an hour for my order. I understand that I ordered quite a few things, but I sat next to someone who waited almost as long as I did for some soup. I also sat and watched a small family come in, order, eat and leave before I got my order.
The waitress/hostess never once acknowledged the wait. She could've at least let me know that there would've been a long wait, so that I could've taken my family home and been back with more than plenty of time to spare. I had reached my limit and was planning on asking for a refund and leaving when she finally arrived with my order. I asked why I had to wait for almost an hour and was just told "I'm sorry. Today has been very busy."
The food was thankfully hot, but not remarkable enough to justify the wait and lack of service. Honestly, it was all pretty bland, except for the fried rice. I don't see myself coming...

The food here is outstanding—every dish is made fresh and packed with flavor. You can really taste the wok hei in the stir-fries, that smoky aroma that sets authentic Chinese cooking apart. The ingredients are always fresh, and each bite feels comforting and satisfying.
What makes this place even more special is the owner. They’re always so welcoming and friendly, which makes dining here feel personal and inviting. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you want to keep coming back, not just for the food but for the warm atmosphere too.
From the crispy appetizers to the rich, savory mains, everything is super delicious. Yufeng has quickly become one of my favorite local spots, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine with heart and...
