I recently purchased the Ocean Haze candle, and I am absolutely mesmerized by its fragrance and overall quality. From the moment I lit it, my space was instantly transformed into a serene, coastal haven. The scent is a perfect blend of freshness and warmth, reminiscent of standing by the ocean on a breezy summer day. It’s subtle yet impactful, filling the room without being overpowering. The fragrance profile is truly exquisite. There’s a delicate balance of crisp marine notes that evoke the salty tang of the sea, paired with soft floral undertones that add depth and elegance. Hints of driftwood and a whisper of citrus bring a grounding yet uplifting quality to the candle, making it a versatile choice for any season. What truly sets Ocean Haze apart is how authentic and natural it smells. It doesn’t have that artificial or overly perfumed scent that some candles tend to have. Instead, it feels like a fresh, invigorating embrace from nature itself. The fragrance lingers beautifully in the air, even hours after the candle has been extinguished, which is a testament to its high-quality ingredients. The candle itself is a masterpiece in design. The container is chic and minimalistic, adding a touch of elegance to any decor. The wax burns cleanly and evenly, with no tunneling, and the wick is perfectly centered for a steady flame. The burn time is impressive, making it not only a treat for the senses but also a fantastic value for the price. What I love most is how this candle creates an atmosphere of tranquility. Whether I’m relaxing after a long day, hosting friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a good book, Ocean Haze enhances the experience in the most delightful way. It’s calming, rejuvenating, and uplifting all at once—a true sensory escape. I cannot recommend the Ocean Haze candle enough. It is, without a doubt, one of the finest candles I’ve ever owned. If you’re looking for a luxurious, high-quality candle that captures the essence of the ocean breeze and makes your home feel like a peaceful coastal retreat, this is the one to get. I’ll definitely be repurchasing—and probably stocking up!

H-E-B is already gigantic but H-E-B Plus! is gargantuan. This grocery store even has an entire section for grills, smokers and hunting blinds! As a Celiac who doesn't live in Texas, it's pretty common to be told, with disdain, that my disease isn't restaurants' problem, so if I need gluten-free food when travelling, I should go to the grocery store. Gluten is a protein that is found in wheat, barley and rye. Surely a lot of Mexican foods should be gluten-free in Texas, right? Wrong. It's a cheap filler in nearly everything or it's cross-contaminated from being fried in the same fryer oil as gluten-foods. Unfortunately, unless you have a full kitchen at your disposal, it's still really difficult to eat gluten-free even going to a giant grocery store like H-E-B Plus! None of the premade foods are marked gluten-free at this gigantic store, including foods that should naturally be gluten-free like tamales. I ended up with a kombucha, chips, and some potato snack called Pik-Nik. I'd really love to be able to safely eat a premade salad or tacos on the go and not have to rely on chips and yogurt. As far as non-food options, if you're in need of Texas themed housewares, this is the spot for everything from Texas-shaped cheeseboards to pillows to candles to cowhide coasters. I just moved to the stone oak area three weeks ago today and I’ve been a total of three times . My last time was this past Sunday where I had a not so great experience, now before I get into that I will say I really enjoy the store. Everyone brags on H E B and it’s the only chain grocery store in the area so you have no choice but to shop here . My birthday was last week and I ordered a red velvet cake which was Delicious. My only complaint about the store as a whole is how everything closes too early ( the deli , the seafood area and the meat area). I’m from Miami and our chain grocery store is Publix . Publix closes at 11pm every night which H E B stays open later but at Publix the deli stayed open until the store was closed. Even if the meats and things were put away, they will go get what you need. Same for the seafood area which they usually started cleaning up alittle before the deli. I went to H E B ( my second trip ) and I went to the deli to get some lunch meat and I was waiting because he was serving someone and when it was my turn he said I’m sorry but we are closed and I have to clean up . It was approximately 9:03 I believe , either 9 or 8:03 and the guy whom was either Asian or Philippino said but you can go over there where he pointed to the presliced meats bagged up in the cool area. I was like really , all I wanted was a pound of turkey sliced and he said sorry!!! But that’s not really what upset me , what upset me to actually type this review was my most recent trip which was this past Sunday 3/31 around 5pm. Now, as I mentioned in the beginning of my review we just moved here three weeks ago as of today so our budget has been tight and my husband actually started his job ( which was the purpose of our relocation) this week. My husband takes care of everything and since we’ve been on a budget this past month until things get flowing again , I picked up some cosmetics from the cosmetics side and a few hangers and paid for it separate from our groceries so my husband didn’t have to pay for it , even though my husband didn’t mind purchasing my items . So after our cashier Bianca D. Scanned my items I quickly threw my receipt and card in my purse to help my husband get our items onto the area so they can be scanned. As we got to the last few items, our water bottles which were one of the heaviest items and were on the bottom of the basket (underneath)because we had about $250 dollars worth of groceries on top. Anywho I asked her can you scan the water without me having to lift them from the bottom and she proceeds to say ummm check your first receipt I believe I charged you for it already, it should be the first thing on that receipt. With confusion I looked in my purse and what do you know I was charged 3.99 for the water on my receipt and it was the first item ( sneaky sneaky sneaky ) . I said why would you do that ? She says I can refund you if like... I’m like , no it’s fine, next time ask and don’t do that again . “ she’s like hehe okay “. It wasn’t even about the money , it was 3.99 it was the overall reasoning behind it . I believe she thought we were going to steal the water because we are BLACK. This area is known to not have many African Americans and I believe she was Hispanic or of some minority and me and my husband are a young couple but trust me for one I would never steal , it’s not worth going to jail for 3.99 water . The correct way she could have played that situation out with 1. Letting the customer know and 2. Making sure we weren’t going to steal it ( if that’s how she felt ) was say Ma’am let me come around and scan that water for you so you don’t have to lift it. Hell anything but instead she chose to secretly charge me on my receipt without saying anything . That situation got me so upset due to what I knew she thought of my family . I was upset until I got home and then I told myself you know what , she’s ignorant I’m not going to let her bother my spirit . H E B make sure your workers ( BIANCA D.) know how to correctly handle...

I wanted to bring up my experience I had when I went to HEB Food-Drug #45/108 January 30th at 11:30 am. My main cashier was Megan G. and she was absolutely amazing, she has the patience of a saint. This is not an email to complain about Megan or really complain about anything. I just want to make light of my situation and let you know I expected more from an organization like HEB.

Now to start I wanted to let you know I have a three month old and she just started on formula one month ago when I went back to work. My father, who is a disabled vet with short term memory, loves in Adkins and goes to the HEB in Floresville. He was nice enough to get my 8 cans of Similac formula for my baby. Unfortunately he bought the wrong formula, she uses Earth's Best. Both come in a violet colored can so it's easy to see why he did this. He didn't give me a receipt because he exspected her to use it. Understandable. So I called up to HEB the same day he gave me the formula, now it is my mistake I did t get the name to who I talked to, and I asked if I can return or better yet exchange the formula. The gentleman on the phone said it's be an even exchange and to bring my ID. I was thrilled. So the next day I go up to HEB with my 8 cans of baby food in tow. Megan had taken me as the next guest and I told her my situation, she is happy to help then Peggy turns and said don't do it, we don't take back formula. Let me point out that it's not written in your return policy anywhere that you don't exchange or return formula. I then told Peggy I had just called the previous day and they said I could bring them in. Peggy the. Said if I didn't know who I talked to she couldn't ask. She preceded to have Megan call the baby department to see if she could return them. They denied it. I asked them to call a manager over because at this point I felt defeated sitting here just wanting formula my baby can eat and nobody is willing to help. So they call Tim, and Tim says do an even exchange and he'd approve the override. Peggy was adamant that she would not approve it or have her name associated with it. So I go to the baby area get the formula I need, and since you only had secen of the sensitivite I had to get four original. I went back to customer service and Megan starts the exchange and then it's time for the override. Tim is supposed to be coming up and he doesn't. I was there for a good 25 minutes before Tim told her to call someone upfront to do the override. So Megan does so, and Peggy says allowed be sure you tell them what they are putting their name on, I wouldn't do it. So Ty walks over to the customer service area and guess who stops him to talk to him? Peggy. I am not sure what the conversation was but he then said ma'am please give me a minute I need to make a call. Megan informs me that he probably doesn't want to do it now so he's getting approval. He makes his call and then comes over and approves the override. I then left with my formula after getting a few other things I needed. I really appreciate that Tim let me exchange the formula, it's a scary thing being on brink of running out of formula and thinking you have plenty because your father is bring some over. So long story short, I really didn't appreciate Peggy and her negativity, especially to my face. I worknin customer service and I've worked at a returns desk before and I would never be that disrespectful to a customer when my organization is...

Ok so the store as a whole is nice , definitely huge, nice selection etc.. HOWEVER the Pharmacy? Forget about it. Ive been using HEB for all my family and my medications for over a decade now , never had any issues, attitude or just straight up lying until a week ago when trying to get a script filled. When I dropped my script off with the tech I told him from the get go "You're going to need to get prior authorization for this med, its new and its controlled. Ive already alerted the nurses at my Dr office and they are awaiting your fax" , gentleman said " ok thanks, it will be about 40 min wait" (never had to wait that long before but ok) so I went shopping. As I was in line to pick up my med I get a call from the tech stating " I need to get a prior authorization for this medication and it will take a few days due to dr and insurance" . Um BS! I go to the counter and speak with another Tech alerting her of the issue, Ive never met someone so rude, brash and apathetic .. I told her the situation and obviously my frustration . She told me " it always takes a couple of days because we have to wait on the dr to approve and then run through the insurance" ok, so I dialed my Dr office right then had them on speaker and told them the situation , my nurses stated they have been waiting for their fax and ready to sign the form, the techs face was red , and said it will be 40mins... I told her you take care of that and my husband will come and pick it up today. He goes to pick it up and they tell him the same thing they told me.. its always takes a few days etc.. I call them after he let me know and they try to then tell me oh well its the insurance that has to approve it and we have to wait , I called her out on it, " I have my Insurance Pharmacy formulary downloaded, its covered its a tier 1 and you need to get the prior auth from the dr which they have been waiting for you guys to send the request!" She said " Im sorry ma'am I dont know what to tell you.. this goes on for 2 days.. last time I called they tried to then tell me it was the dr, I called the dr office prior to calling the pharmacy .. they sent the request back filled and signed.. she then tried to tell me it would take a while for the insurance to approve it.. Ok thats it ! "I told her ma'am , Im a nurse , AND i work for health insurance, I am well versed in the process and the one you tried to tell me is not and never has been especially with my ins carrier. I know how my insurance works and the turnaround time so try again and if I have any further issue I will contact corp.... she didnt have a response. I got a call an hour later that my med was FINALLY filled.. SO we will go back to getting our meds filled at Alon Market HEB .. 30 mins away just so I know I will have peace of mind knowing mine and my family's meds will be...
