This location is near the house so we go pretty often. There's been several occasions where our order is off or things are missing but usually we just let it go. We went a few weeks ago and we came home with an incomplete order but finally decided to call and ask about it.
We called the number off our receipt and got a guy named Chris. He said it would be no problem and he would comp our next meal to make it right. Awesome. We appreciated it.
Today, my husband worked late and we decided to take them up on their offer. He explained the situation when he pulled up and they said it would be no problem, just come to the window. Unfortunately, when he got to the window, the lady at the register had no idea what he was talking about.
He had to explain the situation again. A guy was called over to speak with him and that guy didn't seem to care about the situation at all. My husband always tries to be a nice guy, he noticed there were cars behind him so he offered to go inside and figure it out. The guy agreed and he parked, got out of the car and went inside. At that point, the guy who was "helping" disappeared. The people up front had no idea who he was talking with either. He was exhausted from work and paid for the meal.
To make matters worse, the person at the register messed up his order by adding an additional drink so he had to wait to get refunded. He then waited for his meal and on his way out he saw the guy he was talking to hanging out in the back. The lack of disrespect that the employee couldn't even be bothered to continue the conversation with him just blows my mind.
Finally, he gets home with our meal and our burgers were wrong. From start to finish this was a terrible experience.
They stated they didn't have a Chris who worked there. So was I lied to? I called the number off the receipt and we only go to that location. Did an employee make up something in the hopes that I would forget?
And why would an employee start to "help" and then run to the back to ignore a customer? I'm not sure what happened tonight but I know that it was some of the worst customer service that we've ever received. I understand it's just fast food but even by those standards this completely...
Read moreThe food is great -- after all, it's Whataburger -- but this location NEVER, and I mean NEVER, gets my order right. I don't know how to emphasize this enough: EVERY SINGLE TIME I go through the drive-through (which is about once a month or so for the past 10+ years), I can COUNT on having problems with my order. The most common problem is that I will order several meals for my family and at least one burger will be missing. Other frequent, but less-common, problems are things like missing fries, wrong drinks, wrong or missing salad dressing, wrong items on burgers, etc. etc. The list goes on and on. I can't remember the last time I went through the drive-through and DIDN'T have to park the car in the parking lot and go inside to have them fix my order. And they don't apologize, either, just leave me standing and waiting, and then return with my missing item(s) and go, "Here ya go!" Given that you usually have to wait 15-20 minutes in the drive-through, which is what I would expect to wait at a "real" (i.e. not fast-food) restaurant, I would hope that I wouldn't THEN have to go inside and wait another 5-10 minutes . . . but that is exactly what happens every time. On a lesser note, they are also very stingy with the ketchup. If my order consists of meals for SIX people, I don't think 12 packets of ketchup is unreasonable, as that is only two per person, but I have actually had employees tell me that I didn't need that many. ("Well, one of those meals didn't come with fries." So what -- that person wants to put the ketchup on their BURGER. "Well, one of those meals is a salad." So what -- the person who is eating the salad also wants to eat some of the fries. Why should I have to rationalize this?) Just give me 2 packets per person; it's not an unreasonable request. That said, the food is good for fast-food fare, so as long as you're prepared to wait a while, and then wait a while longer while they fix their mistakes,...
Read moreThe manger was very unprofessional at this location. I believe his name is Robert. He humiliated my daughter and sonâs girlfriend. They were supposed to had corrected the order, that they clearly messed up. When they went in the restaurant to have the order corrected he( Robert) was clapping his hands while telling them he was not going to correct the order. (unprofessional.) Like they were winning a Grammy Awards for best acting (like they were lying). This manger was very unprofessional and very humiliating. He did this with other customers in the work environment. People pay money for their orders to be correct. There was no labels on the taquitos. They ask them to pack the bags separately. One of the taquito was missing. Not to mention, we had one bag of hash browns with only four. It was supposed to be two orders of hash browns. The manger behaved disgusting. Not to mention the grandmother ordered a hamburger with mayo and got mustard. He wasnât aware we were in the same car. The Whataburger staff is messing up and need to take accountability. This manger was not listening to his customers and had no respect. (Stereotype them) I also, reported his behavior unprofessional itâs...
