San Poke — Restaurant in San Antonio

Our family tried this place today and everything was fabulous! I feel like the pricing is fair and the portion sizes are generous. Our bowls all filled us up. Everything tasted fresh and crisp and the flavors were amazing together. I was also impressed with all the different ingredients that you could customize in your bowl. They even give you a scoop of masago, if you ask for it! I definitely expected that to be an up charge, but it wasn't! Our meals were all only 13.99. The burrito picture is only half. They really stuffed it! We hadn't ordered drinks at first, so they brought us water cups to our table. I thought that was such a kind gesture! When I tell you this is THE spot for poke. I've chased this same taste in other poke spots closer to me (as this is 30 minutes away) and never found it. The vast amount of options for protein (that's not just raw fish), sauces, toppings and add ons makes it friendly for both people who want to try poke and those that already know what they want. The taste here is just chef's 💋🤌🏻. They have added self checkout, which I LOVE because someone doesn't have to wait for me while I look like my soul is disconnected from my body. They have also added takoyaki and taiyaki. My girlfriend goes feral over takoyaki and ALWAYS gets it at restaurants. I ended up ordering her 2 takoyakis and she TORE. THEM. UP. My girlfriend and I have been coming here since it opened and it has been our favorite local spot in town. Cant go wrong with sushi grade quality fish, fresh vegetables and rice, along with amazing boba tea. The staff is always hustling to make sure everyone is helped and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend this place to any1.

The only thing that has changed since my original review is how much more they have added ! Takoyaki, taiyaki, drink cooler, to-go sushi and even a fried sushi dog ! (assuming like a tempura sushi roll) Really happy to see the growth. The consistency still is the same and this place is amazing.
