BAD experience at an airport restaurant. If you have PRIORITY PASS go to YANKEE PIER!!
While the speed and efficiency was OK, the menu was not as intended, the staff thought we should know their bespoke happenings, and I got SASS!
It all started with me ordering the squeeze play: vanilla ice cream between two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. SFO style pizookie, I thought... Yes please! .. but, it wasn't like that.
It first came out with caramel, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream. When I asked about the toppings that were not mentioned in the menu, the waiter said he would switch it out if I remembered to special order from the beginning the next time I came in, but in a condescending manner as he sassed my plate away. "Yes, I am in an airport. This is going to be my regular jaunt and I will remember."
The second time the dessert came out, it was just the cookie and ice cream, but I discovered the cookie was rock hard. I literally tried to hack it apart until I succumbed to a decision that the dessert was lost calories that weren't worth it. Realizing I had poopoo-ed the ice cream and cookies, my waiter came over and explained how the cookies are baked in the morning and are hard by the evening and even harder due to the ice cream. Fine, fine - he took the dessert back and even offered to take it off the receipt.
But let's get to the receipt... When the receipt came, I showed my priority pass and the waiter asked whether I had checked in with it at the front. Was I supposed to? That has never happened to me before. Quickly scurrying off and telling the host that she needed to scan my card was not an issue and the scanning process was efficient-ish as airports go, but once that process was through, he informed me that the computer was down and I had to wait 5 minutes that turned into 10, in order to fully check out and sign my check.
By that time people were wanting to leave and had been waiting to leave with boarding times coming up. I began to realize the restaurant's processes, systems, menu, and all around quality was making it hard for the staff - I began to feel bad...

Ordered a dirty gin martini. It tasted like sugar water and gin. A few minutes later I saw him make another dirty martini. No cocktail shaker, just stirred in a glass. He poured a few drops(did he mix up the qty w a bitters drink?!) of vermouth into the gin, poured a shot of simple syrup into it, and then a squirt of olive juice from a dirty squeeze bottle. A dirty martini is like the 3rd drink you learn how to make in bartender school. I’ve never had a martini messed up so badly, not even in a foreign country.
I ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich. It arrived with all of the ingredients on the plate for me to assemble myself. Not just the onions on the side, EVERYTHING on the side. Lmao…. What is happening?
I looked into the kitchen and they had a giant container of soggy fries sitting there, waiting to get added to plates. It looked like nothing fried is actually cooked to order. Mind you, it was not busy. There was no reason to pre-cook this stuff. My suspicion was confirmed when the stranger next to me ordered a Korean chicken sandwich and the whole plate came out 30 or 40 seconds later.
Stay away from this place unless all you want is a draft beer. That can’t possibly...

Let’s talk about the wings first—juicy and crispy, they hit all the right notes. The skin was perfectly crisp, yet the meat inside was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning to elevate every bite.
Then there’s the garlic fries. Fire doesn’t even do them justice. These fries were coated in a fragrant, savory garlic butter that made every single one a little bite of heaven. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, reminding me of Oracle Park.
As for the drinks, the top-shelf beverages were my highlight. The bar kept the drinks flowing throughout my time waiting for my flight. The bartenders know their stuff and make sure you’re never without something to sip in hand.
And let’s not forget the service. The manager made rounds throughout my short time there, checking in on tables and ensuring everything was running smoothly.
All in all, Giants Clubhouse is a winning spot for great food, excellent drinks, and...
