The food was good as always. The server, a small Philippine lady with a limp, was truly awful. After ignoring me and another customer for about a minute, she looked up and said "Is anyone ready"? I replied yes and started my order with a Chicken Caesar Salad. She stopped me and said " Do you want a salad or a wrap "? I told her I had asked for a salad, I didn't say anything about a wrap? She spoke loudly, so I assumed she had auditory issues. I asked her to add tomato, but not to add cruetons. When I tried to remind her not to add cruetons she did anyway and told me I had told her too late. Incredible. Next I order a large Turkey Chili, but when I got to my table turned out to be something different. Her attitude fluctuated between indifference and passive aggressive hostility. When I returned the soup, she mumbled something about chili but said I had asked for something else. She said she would replace it, like she was doing me a favor. If this is the best this company can do, please do some customer service training and check for hearing impairments that can severely effect performance. Or, maybe just encourage her to look for work that doesn't involve working with people. I was sad for her and for me and others for her poor attitude and...

I had a misunderstanding with the people in front of me. I asked one of them if they took the order because she was just wandering. She said yes but apparently she forgot to mention her friend didn’t. Without knowing this, I went in front and try to order but soon realized it and jumped back to my spot in the line. But when it comes to me, the cashier started to YELLED AT ME ‘you don’t cut the line. You shouldn’t cut the line.’ I said it was a misunderstanding. Then she keeps yelling ‘you cut the line in front of them!’ She pointed at the people has been always behind me. I replied ‘I was always in front of them’ she keeps talking that I shouldn’t cut the line and I GOT MAD. It seems like the cashier just wanted to humiliate me in public with all the accusations.
It was the worst human behavior I’ve ever...
Read moreBig fan of Ladle & Leaf - it's my go-to food for flights. My favorite is the Thai Peanut Chicken Salad with Avocado - healthy and delicious!
Located in the food court area of Terminal 3 near F Gates. Generally pretty quick, unless there's a long line.
They have a wide variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches, as well as coffee, tea, and other drinks.
Note like every place at SFO, they charge $0.25 for a bag, so consider bringing your own. That said, airlines always seem to allow SFO-issued food bags as a third carry on item, so sometimes it's actually better to pay the $0.25 to avoid hassle at the gate.
PS - I'm pretty sure there was an entry for Ladle & Leaf with reviews, but it seems to have disappeared, not...
