Cosentino's Pizza — Restaurant in San Clemente

At the counter I was asking about a draft, asking if it was like Blue Moon. The proprietor over heard and handed me a generous sample. Spouse liked it! It was better than Blue Moon- a Tangerine lager. Order complete, we sat facing the beach. Next thing the proprietor and very attractive hostess were handing us the bright orange pitcher of tangerine lager and Karl Straus glasses- they literally came around from outside the building and handed us the items over the dividing wall. A very nice touch. Nice thick head on that beer. Next came a huge pizza. First noticed the black olives, really fragrant and pungent- perfect! Next the cheese, perfect flavor and texture- a very high quality ingredient. Finally the crust was unlike any in memory but having had it, I prefer it. It was a very thin crust but held together very well for such a heavy pizza. All the other ingredients including a multitude of colorful bells and peppers all excellent. Pizza tasted like cardboard the girl young at the cash register terrible attitude I ask her to please add pepperoni to my pizza she looked at in a whatever’s face charged me for the pizza and pepperoni giggled and said I had to wait 20 minutes 45 minutes go by I’m still waiting Spencer coolest employee you guys have hands me my pizza and apologizes for the wait I didn’t check it I had to leave I get home I crack the box open and it’s the tiniest little pizza for 22 bucks no pepperoni blandest cardboard I ever had I’ve had frozen pizza with more love gone into it I gave a slice 2 other people bunch of picky free loaders and they even said it was terrible and I agree it was bad I felt like it was done that way because it was easy for them to get away with it spencer saved you guys from one star I don’t know what happened but I don’t plan on picking up a pie here anytime soon after that experience I remember when that place was the best in...

Pizza with a View!!

Talk about a great location! It’s right across the street from the San Clemente Pier. It's perfect for a lunch or dinner at the beach!! You’ll get a view of the sunset, although you’ll get a better view when you walk across the street to the pier.

Dine there or get take out and have a picnic by the beach, either on the grass area or at the tables by the sand. There’s a monorail train that runs through so it can be loud. It’s a small pizzeria so seating is limited when it’s busy.

The Pizzas were so cheesy and hot when they put them on the table. The smells coming from the food were heavenly! It was definitely enough to feed our group of 8!!
