BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE: Went in to pick up an online order but left my phone in the car. A woman with long curly hair behind the counter told me I couldn't have the pizza till I showed the order on my phone. Got my phone, showed her the order and reached for the pizza. She pulled the pizza out of my hand and sternly insisted I click "confirm delivery" on the app before she would give it to me. When I reacted to her aggressiveness by saying "Wow," she proceeded to berate and yell at me as I exited the store. Is this how San Clemente Pizza Company wants to represent itself to its local customers?! I won't give my personal business to this restaurant again, and I'll inform all my friends and on social media of my experience here tonight. I recommend Sonny's Pizza instead...food is better and the staff is respectful and grateful to their customers.
Reply to store response: I have also been a customer and lived in this town for many years. The fact that their response was again "aggressive" proves my point. Most companies would apologize for any misunderstandings. Read moreSo upset with my experience. Just relocated to San Clemente and got in just before 10pm. Ordered Pizza through Uber Eats and noticed my delivery time kept getting pushed out. After 1 hour I called the restaurant and asked if our ordered was being prepared. The lady replied that it’s been ready just sitting there. She said this happens all the time and chances are the order will be cancelled and not delivered because Uber Eats doesn’t send a driver. I asked why I wasn’t contacted to come pick it up if that was the case as my family is here starving and they are now closed. I asked if we could come pick up the order and she said we could. When we arrived, she had us pay for the order again after we had already paid Uber..... They just made us pay for cold food that they were already paid for and going to throw away. I am blown away with the customer service from this restaurant as well as Uber Eats. I will definitely not be referring this...

Uber eats forgot to grab the salad when they delivered our food- called the restaurant directly and he delivered it to us himself(possible owner/manager)-I previously wrote a review about the loaded cinnamon sticks having different toppings then stated on the menu— I went out to run a quick errand- came back and a fresh order of the loaded cinnamon sticks with the proper toppings was on the patio table!
