I'm giving 2 stars because I have had food from here before and it was pretty good from what I remember. My issue was trying to phone in an order. The person on the phone did not know the menu at all and was not able to answer simple questions about menu items. "is the sashimi salad a salad with some fish on top or is it a fish salad with some mixed greens. More fish or more greens?" Id suggest that anyone taking an order be familiarized with the entire menu and that the online version of the menu be accurate and up to date. Went here for dinner again just this past Sunday evening. My daughter ordered the miso soup and garlic edamame. She is obsessed with this yummy little dish. I ordered the albacore sashimi, yellowfin sushi (x2) and the salmon sushi as well. The sashimi came out with amazing presentation. Dressed to kill. Tasted like a dream. The sushi was impeccable. The fresher I have ever tasted. This is the norm for this establishment. The fish is just out of the water I swear. Melts in your mouth. Very clean. Miso Happy Thanks to San Clemente Sushi Co for satisfying me and my two nephews cravings. We came hungry and left fully satisfied. My you get nephew and I boh agreed the scallops was the best. The other nephew didn't get to try it to pick it 😂 but he enjoyed the salmon nigiri. Salmon is always my go to but here, get yourself the jumbo scallops
