Been to too many Starbucks only to uncover another terrible location for any customer service. Store seemed overwhelmed, which I get it you are running a crazy promo for the season. But to act like you are put out because you have to work on a Sunday is not good. Ordered a holiday drink and was ready to hit the road heading back to OC. 1/2 a mile in to getting back on the freeway I took a drink and it was not what I ordered. My wife even asked, "what did you order, look on the cup". Well it was clearly not what was written on the cup. Because I refuse to pay $6 for a cup of coffee for it to taste like junk we turned around, I went in, no no line and ask for another one. The counter girl says "ok we'll make another one". She calls up the barista to look and she just turns and asks for another cup. I sit down and wait. 2 min. Later she yells my drink out "remake". I go get it and not a single person working looked at me, said we were sorry, NOTHING! I have told my wife that I will start boycotting Starbucks due to the now 3rd (different store) terrible service situation with this chain. I used to put up with the prices as you got what you ordered or they make it right! I think it's still part of their slogan. Just now they don't show any care/empathy for when they don't make it right. That's where I draw the line. Good luck Starbucks and I'm sure you...
Read moreI (admittedly) go to Starbucks MUCH too often and I always find myself at this specific location. This is not only due to the location, which is right by my house, but also the fact that this Starbucks has the largest menu and kindest staff in the area. Many of the other Starbucks' in San Clemente have miniature versions of the menu, so you don't have as many drinks and food options to choose from, but this location has all I could ask for and more! Also, the people here have gotten to know me since I order from this Starbucks so much, and they are just the sweetest people! Though, I have to admit that the staff is sown times a bit rude. To name an example of what I mean: Normally I'll order a grande strawberry acai refresher with no ice (to get more of the drink out of it of course ;)) but sometimes they give me the ice in my drink, and when I point out the error, they don't take my drink back. This isn't a huge deal, but it's just something I noticed. And when I ask for the no ice, I get a lot of eye rolls from the barista. Sorry I want to get my money's worth out of the drink! Other than that I would highly recommend this location, because they also have the wireless charging for your devices which is always a plus. So Starbucks, keep doing what you're doing, but tell the staff to be...
Read moreI've been to Starbucks around the country , and this is by far the worst one I've ever been to. It looks clean and that's it. Service is poor staff is rude and before they messed up my order one of the employees went to the back with the mop water and hit me in the leg with it , no "excuse me" or even "sorry". Starbucks is supposed to be very good with allergies , I have a severe anaphylactic dairy allergy and so I ordered my iced latte with coconut milk. The barista said "coconut milk venti mocha iced latte " as well as my name so I knew it was mine. I got about half way through my coffee when my throat started to close up 20 minutes later , thank god my roommates were there because between choking and throwing up I wouldn't have been able to call 9/11. Long story short people need to pay attention because it could be that one person that there life depends on it . Happy 4th to me, I can't remember the names but the order taker was very rude some lady with a tattoo on her neck (hmm) and the guy who almost killed me was a tall white guy with blonde curly hair . DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE TERRIBLE!! Choose any other Starbucks and save yourself some time and...
