I would go to any other chipotle in the area before this one. I’ve been here several times in the past few weeks and every visit the experience has been unimpressive to put it mildly. First you have one person filling orders and running the register at the same time while you have a line out the door. Any other chipotle you have at least one if not a couple people taking orders with one other person running register. Making it worse, they have other employees doing non-urgent tasks like cleaning (presumably so they can get out earlier after they close) while they have 5-15 people waiting to get their food and it’s 2 hours before closing. Clearly customer service is a low priority here. I have to echo the other reviews that talked about undercooked rice and other sub par ingredients as well. They give you minimal portion size compared to other chipotle then want to charge you extra. This visit I ordered a 3 pointer (rice, meat and salsa). The girl barely puts a full scoop of steak on top of 3 scoops of rice (not shy to go overboard on the rice, just everything else), then the cashier wanted to tell me they the meat counts as 2 points so it’s a full price bowl. I explained to him it’s only 2 points if you do double meat and this was nowhere close to double meat, it wasn’t even a full usual portion of meat. Then they tell me they can’t sell a small bag of chips (that I get at every other chipotle) because it’s only for the kids meals and then they tell me other locations shouldn’t be selling me that, that they are only allowed to sell me a large bag of chips. Meanwhile, the place is dirty, tables are dirty, floors are dirty, and they have a couple employees sitting at the community table on break while they have 10 customers waiting in a line with one person taking orders, and this has been typical every visit for the past several weeks (4-5 visits). I also have to echo the reviews talking about the manager, that she clearly isn’t too worried about her customers or her employees. They seem to have no concept of customer service and no idea how to prioritize serving a customer over say, cleaning and getting ready for close. Customer service should always come first. If that means you get out of the store a little later than usual then that’s part of the job. Sad to see this. Hope the owner can turn it around. Next time I’m in this area I’ll def be going to Cali Fish Grill next door or something else comparable...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Chipotle, and I must say that the overall experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was great, but what truly stood out was the exceptional care and compassion displayed by Maria, the General Manager.
As a parent, dining out with a toddler can be a challenging experience, especially when unexpected meltdowns occur. During my visit, my little one had a meltdown right in the middle of the line, and I felt a mix of embarrassment and concern. However, Maria's response completely changed the situation.
Immediately recognizing the distress, Maria showed remarkable empathy and understanding. Without hesitation, she stepped outside the restaurant and approached me with a warm smile, offering assistance and reassurance. Her willingness to accommodate our needs in such a considerate manner truly left a positive impression on me.
Maria not only took my order right there, but she also went above and beyond by bringing our food outside to us. This act of kindness not only saved us the trouble of managing a potentially chaotic situation inside the restaurant but also made us feel valued as customers. Maria's genuine concern and dedication to ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable went far beyond what I expected.
It is these small gestures of exceptional service that truly set Chipotle apart from other establishments. Maria's ability to handle unexpected situations with grace and attentiveness speaks volumes about her dedication to providing an exceptional customer experience.
As a parent, it is often easy to feel self-conscious when our children act out in public. However, Maria's compassionate approach made me feel understood and supported during a challenging moment. Her exceptional service not only helped alleviate my concerns but also created a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for my family.
In conclusion, I highly commend Maria, the General Manager of Chipotle, for her outstanding customer service. Her kindness, understanding, and willingness to go the extra mile made our visit memorable. I believe that employees like Maria are the true driving force behind a successful dining establishment, and her exceptional qualities should be recognized and celebrated.
I look forward to returning to Chipotle in the future, knowing that I will be welcomed with open arms and exceptional service, thanks to...
Read moreI came here the other day and I was disgusted at how little meat they give you. You are in the San diego market and my burrito was the size of a large taco. Then I asked for guacamole, but upon looking at how disgusting it looked (yes I know the oxygen changes the color over time but I also know the difference between just a different color and just disgusting).....at this time a lady came up and said it wasn't any good as she had ordered a side of it with her meal. The employee then displayed a passive aggressive attitude towards the customer complaining and told her it was just the oxygen had hit it. The girl then told her that she yasted it and it tastef bad.......the employee then gave more excuses .
Well I had decided I wanted guacamole so i asked if they had anything fresh.....the girl said no.ay this point I'm thinking my burrito should be free....you don't have fresh guacamole so I can't get my burrito the way I want it..if I choose to take the disgusting guacamole that was currently out I risk getting sick as the girl just came up and educated the girl at the counter that it isn't any good. But instead I watched the girl(blonde or dirty blonde) roll her eyes at the lady and then I didn't get my burrito
Normally I might let this go and move on....but the fact that my burrito was tiny for the high price, I wanted fresh guacamole after seeing the disgusting stuff in the bin and then a lady came up as I'm looking at the stuff and says it's no good after she tastes it.then you dont have any fresh guac....
It is a shame what chipotle has become...i used to go to chipotle 3 to 6 days a week from around 2008 to 2020 .
You need to stop shorting us on meat.its disgusting how little meat you now give us.
It's disgusting that we have to order bad guacamole to get guacamole on our burrito..
It's Gross that your employee rolled her eyes when told about the disgusting guacamole.
You are in the san diego market where we can get a good carne asada burrito for less than 10 dollars. A Carne asada that would make your burrito look tiny...if I posted it to youtube it would go viral.fix yourself....or you will go out of...
