Christy's Donuts — Restaurant in San Diego

This donut shop gets at least four stars, I do wish they were not cash-only, but I have no issue with this donut shop; however it's sister shop across the parking lot-Point Loma Bagels, is another story. The bagels and cream cheese are delicious but the owner manager lady that is there everyday ruins the experience; she is very very Rude and refuses to serve certain people the fresh Bagels from the basket; she gets the bagels from a drawer underneath the basket for me; I don't know if they're day-old bagels but for example my everything bagel I get every morning does not have much on top of it in way of seeds, there's hardly anything on top of that bagel, it appears smaller and is just not as tasty. I asked her for a fresh bagel from the basket and she refuses to get me one saying 'they're all the same Bagels do you want it or not?!' she is very rude and I wish something would be done about her, she does not need to be at the front counter. Very very rude Customer Service. They also allow dogs in there which I think is against health code; put a table on the sidewalk outside with water if you want dogs to come into your Eatery! I mean honestly I don't even know where to begin. We originally were going to pick up take out from next door and got a whiff of the INCREDIBLE smell coming from their shop. We went in absolutely mesmerized by the enchanting smell and helped ourselves to some donuts for the next morning. As we were checking out they handed us a donut literally right out of the decor station that was still nice and warm and oh dear, I have never tasted anything so heavenly in my entire life. I think we died for a second and came back and landed back at this sweet little shop. Anyway, if you were looking for a new donut shop, look no further, this is it guys....

So sad to see nothing but complainers in the reviews. We go absolutely nowhere else for donuts. Christy's is simply the absolute best in Point Loma. The owners are always very friendly and the donuts are always fresh. It is a Cash Only business, but c'mon it truly isn't that difficult to carry cash with you. The parking space right in front of their business is very small, and whenever it's full I just make my way to the big parking lot by Cotijas and walk like one whole minute to the donut shop. Only bright people can do that though. Anyway... if you're debating visiting this cute little shop, this is your green...
