Love this place. This is our go to in OB. My wife and I have been coming here for years. Whether it's dropping to get a quick caffeine fix or to hang out and catch up, this place is our jam. The drinks are all coffee forward and they use nothing but the highest quality ingredients. Gladys, the owner, is one of the best, she's been doing it for years and takes a ton of pride in her coffee. Every beverage has been thoughtfully crafted and intentionally made, moreover the Arabian/Latin influence of the drinks is superb. Personally recommend the Mayan Mocha (with hints of Cayenne), the Arabian Mocha (infused with Cardamom) - even the sweet drinks are lighter on the sweet. We have a young daughter and she loves going there to see the owner and baristas - she'll sit and talk to them for hours during slow times. The ambiance is cool, hints of culture throughout with that neighborhood coffee vibe. They're a staple in the OB/PL area....

The Americano was good and avocado toast was good (ask for ciabatta roll to be toasted golden mine was just warm bread). I came here for the avo toast and coffee because I heard it was so good.

However, this will not be a destination coffee shop for me because no bathroom, nowhere to wash your hands, & only paper cups, Definitely a grab and go vibe.

Also, kind of pricey. I spent $5.50 on an americano and then once I finished it, I asked if I could have just another half cup of house coffee and I got charged another $3.75 for coffee. I was told it's because it's organic coffee. Actually, if she had just filled my cup half way and let me know that next time I'd have to be charged for it that may have been customer service and that may have brought me back here, but I'm out.

With gratuity, charge for 2 coffees ($10), and Avo toast, I spent $30 bucks. That seems a bit excessive for a...

First time here, purchased some drinks and food on the way to Sea World. The drinks were good, but was disappointed that the matcha latte was filled to the top with ice. I finished that drink in about 6 sips. The Mayan coffee was spicy, not to my wife's liking, but I liked it. The food was ok, ordered the quiche and avocado toast. This place is definitely on the pricier side. Reason for the neutral review is because I spent $42 for 2 drinks, a small quiche, and avocado toast. Small amount of food for the price. We also weren't greeted and the barista just walked up to the register and stared at me waiting for me to order. Overall, a meh experience. Also, no restroom available. We took our food to go so we can use the...

I came here for the first time. I am not much of a coffee drinker. So, I told them I what should I have as whenever I get coffee it is always decaf Cappuccino with whole milk. Maria the barista/hostess suggested that I try Chai Latte if I am not much of a coffee drinker but like milk based beverage. So I tried it and it was great. I also tried their decaf cappuccino and was better than any other place I have had in North Park. Highly recommended place. Only suggestion I have is that they change the music selection from club/dance music to more mellow coffee shop tunes. as coffee shop and club/dance music dont go along :) esp. for someone if they come to their coffee shop to work as I saw a couple of customers reading/studying/working.
