Tacos La Chorreada — Restaurant in San Diego

I have been wanting to try this food truck for quite a while. You can't miss it, with its almost neon green color. They are known for their street tacos, among other items, so I ordered two adobada tacos and one chorizo and nopal tacos. All three were $2.95 each.

The chorizo and nopal or cactus were very good. It was plain chorizo with no egg cooked with the nopales. The chorizo tasted very good, and so did the cactus. One thing that I really liked about all three tacos was the yellow corn tortillas. They were very tasty and had a good thickness about them.

The adobada was good, too. The marinaded pork meat had a good ratio of meat to fat and was flavorful. I liked that there were some crispy bits inside mixed with the tender pieces. The guacamole was very good, too. It was creamy and well seasoned.

They offer a few covered tables for customers. The young lady at the window was nice. They also offer burritos, mulitas, and...

The horchata smooth with complex spices that make it stand out; excellent.

The asada mulitas have ruined me to tacos. They are inexplicably both juicy and crispy around the edges. They have so much flavor and you customize the heat with the combo of sauces they send you off with.

The staff were super helpful and patient with our questions, and everything came out very quick.

My favorite taco and quesadilla spot! Meats with excellent flavor! Expectations from a truck are lower, but this spot outperforms so many b&m restaurants.
