I'm glad there's a new coffee place within walking distance. The owner Kevin always has a gentle demeanor and is just so kind!

I usually get an iced almond milk chai which is divine, but I've tried the seasonal Vietnamese oatnog, which is extremely tasty, and an almond milk matcha, unsweetened, which is also a new favorite.

The toasts are good as well and I would say my favorite thing thus far for the food is the seasonal turkey cranberry sandwich which I received on one of their biscuits that was so buttery and delicious!

Took off a point for atmosphere for two reasons: 1. There's often no seating inside because students bringing their laptops take up the place for hours (which is not really a fault of the coffee shop), but also the music is loud and not the sort of thing I want to hear in the morning. The line moved quickly. I enjoyed that despite all the staff being busy, they acknowledged every visitor with a quick greeting. The menu is well designed quickly and easily.

avocado toast: The flavors mix well together. The avocado goes really well with the spicy mustard. You can tell they work with high-quality ingredients because I was able to taste the olive oil, the avocado, and the cheese with every bite.

The grilled cheese- super crunchy and packed with flavor. The garlic bread was tasty. Loved every bite.

Lavender Thyme latte- perfect temperature, flavorful enjoyed every sip.

1-1 shot- that shot was a slap to the face. It woke me up right away. Just what I needed after a long morning hike.
