I am deeply saddened by the behavior of the owner/maintenance guy at this rancho bernardo facility. I along with my wife went for dinner at this facility, food was good to be honest but the service was way horrible, no one looked at us to fill in water for almost 10-15 mts and when my wife asked "can you please pack food for us" towards the end, there was no response from the waiter and he simply provided us with the to-go boxes and when I gently asked about this when leaving, owner said infact threatened "we don't pack food for customers and it's our policy". Agreed that it might be your policy but that should have been told in a gentle and decent manner and instead owner was harsh in his tone as if saying to get out and said "I maintain 3 restaurants"! I don't care if you maintain one or 100 restaurants but one should be respectful towards others.
I strongly believe that this owner guy is racist and suggest to avoid this place if you want a peaceful dining experience with warm welcome and send off!
After this horrifying experience, I remember Mahatma Gandhi's words "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so".
Hopefully this owner guy would change his arrogant, indecent and harsh behavior after reading this review!!

We arrived at 9PM (restaurant closing time 10PM) & even before we got seated our server told... “you have 10mins to order before our kitchen closes".!! With full attitude.. Really who closes kitchen 50mins before restaurant closing time.
entrée comes with Naan bread. I asked to replace Naan with tandoori roti & server denied straight on my face. I said I'm anyways ordering 1 extra tandoori roti then what's the harm in replacing Naan with roti, as you anyways gonna make roti for me & both cost same in menu (i.e. $3), but still he denied & said this is how our restaurant policies are from last 11 years.
after placing order I asked what if I want to order more roti's later?? & he said place your complete order right now orelse you'll get your extra roti very late.. because we take orders in queue & if 7 people ahead of you ordered they will have their food 1st then you will get your roti.. I was clue less whether to go half stomach filled or order extra without any reason..

Terrible customer service. Rude, careless and shockingly blunt ! It is my third time going to this place - first 2 times was fine. My family of 6 got seated close to the kitchen and from the time we entered the place, the main host was not friendly. Almost as if he did not want any more customers in the restaurant !
As it was getting too warm for the kids (right next to the kitchen and cooking range behind the glass), we asked us to be moved. The waiter said he will check and after a few minutes when I asked him about it, he said "Its not possible". 60% of the tables were free, they were closing in a few minutes (so not expecting any new customers). When we said it is too hot for the kids, we were told "we cannot do anything".
When we said we will leave, the response was "Ok - Kitchen cancel the order". Other comments from the host - "We dont have to give you a table, we will give only if we want to". Asked about his customer service ability (which he clearly lacked), "I know, you can leave".
So we left !!
It is probably my worst restaurant experience in a while, especially with little kids.
