Dino's Gyros Greek Cafe and Taverna — Restaurant in San Diego

PHENOMENAL! Dino’s has some of the best Greek cuisine I’ve EVER had! The cafe focuses primarily on traditional Greek dishes like Mousaka, gyros etc. but it also has fusion meals like Greek burgers! I recommend the Hercules burger which comes with a patty, cuts of lamb, tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato and more burger fixings smack in the middle of two brioche buns. It’s not only one of the BEST burgers I’ve ever had, it’s some of the best lamb cuts I’ve ever tried! The cafe was very laidback and relaxed. The staff were decent and the place was pretty clean. The food came out reasonably fast. The fountain drink options are minimal. I heard about this place from the SD Gulls Hockey Team. Next time, I’m bringing my ticket and getting my free gyro! The staff at Dino’s didn’t tell me but now I know!

Dino's is another family owned business which are my favorite kind. Although I have some wonderful chains in my neighborhood, it really comes down to the people who I look forward to interacting with. Dino's is a true family success story. What began years ago, a delicious Greek restaurant had a loyal crowd. These days however, Dino's is much more. The restaurant took a vacancy next to them, in the movie theatre part of Clairemont Square..and made it their own. Dino's Cafe and Taverna now includes a bar, dedicated to a devoted sports clientele...Gull's anyone? Whatever the season, it's on at Dino's. Of course, the menu has only grown with time. A "something for everyone" menu is offered, along with craft beers and wine. Once again, a family restaurant and bar. Outside on the patio is a perfect spot before and after movies and...

No Bathrooms! Ridiculous how they just remodeled and didn't install bathrooms. Bathrooms are outside about 30 feet from door in a hallway, and only one stall and one urinal in mens room for all the restaurants there (more than 5). Had to stand in urine while relieving myself. I expected better for such a "nice" plaza by the theater.

Food is average, but filling (gyro - I've had much better elsewhere). Fries were hot and tasty, but a few tasted freezer burned. Food arrived to table quickly.

Staff are cute girls displaying their breasts in tiny T-Shirts, daring you to look! They were hard to miss... I'm not complaining. Staff were fairly pleasant.

All in all, it's OK if you're hungry and don't mind the gnarly dirty small bathrooms outside of the restaurant a ways, and...
