Two messed up orders and for the second time I'm still cooking half of the dinner they forgot to give me here on my last visit. The customer service here is normally "Get your food and get the f*%k out.", with a smile of course.
I used to eat here regularly because it was easy to find and the food was not half bad. But recently I have watched as the customer service gets worse and worse. Two out of my last three to go orders were messed up. When I finally complained about an order I called in an order at 8:45 on my way home from work and arrived at 5 till 10 (closing time), the lady rushed me out the door before I could check to make sure everything was there. When I got it into my car the container popped open and spilled sweet & sour all over my rental car which I think they charged me for. I came home to realize that they had completely left out the fried rice to go with the Sweet & Sour Shrimp. I had to grab some Uncle Ben's from the and cook half of my dinner my self.
When I came back to ask them, the lady would not let me speak and tried to force me to give an order. When I told her that I just wanted the rice that was left out of my meal on my last visit, she (the same lady) gave me a very evil look and confirmed with the manager that it was OK before reluctantly going back to get my rice.
IT'S RICE, NOT SOME VALUABLE COMMODITY! Don't make me feel like I am stealing it when I simply wanted to bring a customer service issue to your attention. In my experience, my father working in hospitality my whole life, if you mess up someone's order, you take care of them.
So, I got my small rice, cooking up some frozen chicken fingers to put on top of it... So sad... lol
There are plenty of other places where they're nice to you around here... Not coming back...
Read moreWent to visit family in sunny beautiful San Diego and celebrate the graduation of two sisters (Amkapg from SDSU AND Riagg from Montgomery High School) my mom ordered the salt and pepper chicken platter and the Chow mein (lo mein) platter as well. Now I’m no expert but I am a connoisseur of amazing flavors and this little place hits spot on! The salt and pepper chicken had AMAZING flavor with red pepper flakes and crispy fried chicken so delicious....and I couldn't get enough of the Lo mein. It had a ton of shrimp, chicken and beef. Very flavorful and fresh. You know so many times I've gotten lo mein at other restaurants and the noodles are dry leaving you wondering where is the sauce, and where is the meat, lol, not this place, the sauce to noodle ratio was perfect and the meat was in abundance. The almond cookies afterwards were a delightful finish with the moist cookies whereas so many other places have hard dried out cookies theses tasted fresh w/ toasted almonds. The food was so delicious we ordered it again a week later and this time they threw in cream cheese wontons. Now this is another thing I've this at other places, wontons all wonton no filing so I don't usually buy them that often unless I'm wanting to fill a crunch craving. These wontons were bursting with cream cheese and the sweet and sour red sauce-BAMMM!!! This will forever be my fav spot on San Diego. OKAY, so it's official, I...

Sort of liked - Mongolian beef, but my party that eats Chinese food regularly said it is the best Sort of liked -orange chicken but my party that regularly eats Chinese food said it was real chicken tenders, juicy on the inside, minimum breading and authentic orange sauce Sort of liked - the service. Fast and attentive but rushed my thoughts and impatient with clarifying questions.
Did not like- cannot substitute rice for chow mein or vegetables Did not like- no fountain drinks Did not like - side items were same price as plate items
Loved - soup is served with lunch option and you can choose white or fried rice Loved - disabled accessibility Loved - spacious dining Loved - fortune cookie positive note Loved - menu choices, if Chinese food was part of my cuisine choices
