An amazing spot for Chinese BBQ skewers, something that isn’t super common in this area! Definitely bring your friends and family to try out as many different skewers as you can!
PARKING - The spots in this plaza are a bit tight, but there are a decent amount of spaces available.
SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - The interior has some cool projected screens across the walls, some hype decoration statues, and also a karaoke area in the back corner. Service was outstanding from start to finish during our meal! Each table has a tray where they will deliver your skewers on, as well as a skewer collector bin on the table. They bring out skewers fairly quickly, with some breaks inbetween to allow you to enjoy them as fresh as you can.
Live shows on Fridays and Saturdays 6:30pm - 9:30pm! Karaoke is available after 10pm!
FOOD - Skewers come in a variety of amounts and you can order them from non spicy to spicy, which is nice in case your table has different tolerances! Some favorites include: Beef Rib Chicken Wing Beef and Enoki Fried Quail Egg Lean Meat
We also enjoyed some non skewer dishes like: Tin Foil Enoki Mushrooms Oysters Pancake with Sausage Chow Mein Dumplings
OVERALL - A really delicious meal, and I’m definitely bringing more friends the next time I come in because there’s so much I still...
Read moreFun Chinese BBQ (also known as Sichuan-Style Shaokao or Xinjiang BBQ) spot with live music from Thursday to Sunday after 7pm. They are still working on their liquor license, so it's BYOB for now. Make sure to grab some cold beer from Target beforehand.
The lean meat, lamb, and beef skewers are delicious, and the cucumber smash is amazing. We also enjoyed some tofu and rose-infused roasted milk to round out the meal. For dessert, we had fried milk with a sweet condensed milk dipping sauce, which was a perfect ending to the meal.
The wait staff is very friendly and efficient. Ordering is done tableside using a QR code, which features a menu with photos. The decor is fun, with oversized sculptures, LED lights, and colorful LED whales. The exterior could use a neon sign, as it looks a bit uninviting due to the tinted windows, but don't let that deter you. Just go inside and have...
Read moreI live in the area and had been wanting to try this place out for quite a while. I liked the atmosphere, the waitress was lovely, the food was kind of bad. Some items were not fresh and I wasn't sure what I expected but the sausage was very Oscar Meyer hot dog-esq. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things. We also ordered mild spice and some medium spice, which was really spicy but it wasn't the spice level that was bad but just that it seemed as if the skewers were just rolled in these pepper flakes that I didn't like the taste of much and gave a very chunky texture. The bill ended up being like 80-90$ for two people. But then we went home and both got really bad food poisoning, the dual action kind, for several hours. It was probably the squid legs or the quail eggs since those were kind of sus. Didn't enjoy the Pepper flakes any better the second...
