Hate to have to edit my 5 star rating from 7 years ago but tonight was super disappointing and broke me (I'm not a negative reviewer!)

I've been coming here forever, loyal customer through multiple renovations. I ordered takeout in the preferred website system and was auto-quoted 20 minutes. I arrived a couple minutes after that time and had to wait another THIRTY minutes for the food to be ready. Multiple attempts to find out the status got answered "they're putting it together." Clearly the order hadn't been started at all when I arrived. I know how long these dishes take because I've ordered them so so so many times! The staff were polite but entirely unhelpful in resolving the issue with a) the actual order b) a time estimate c) comping any part of the order for (previously) very loyal customers. They said they needed to call the manager and then that only the owner can authorize refunds. If this is their preferred ordering option it should actually be preferred with accurate timing, maybe preferred order vs. evil Uber Eats orders, and enabling your staff to actually use the system. I can't even claw back the tip at the time of ordering for this abysmal...

Amazing Costumer Service! Amazing Server/Host. Delicious Food! Especially the Fried Rice and PHO and the appetizers and the foods are well amazingly cooked fresh and when you eat it all melt in your mouth! If I was to compare this place with El Cajon PHO hoa, I rather Choose to eat at this place because it has Great service and the server and host are EXTREMELY ADORABLE AND FRIENDLY! no Refils Charged and the one in El Cajon " PHO hoa" the people who work there aren't professional at serving and their place is too crowded and some of the worker over there are rude and they also have starring problem and very uncomfortable. By the way and I was going to tip PHO hut &Grill $50 but then I was such in a rush to go run some emergency Errands and I am soo Sorry for that! T__T" but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PHO LOVER TO COME AND EAT HERE BECAUSE IT SOOOO HEAVENLY GOOD! The PHO noodles is soo right cooked the the meats are tender and soft and juicy! This is my first time eating at this place which is today lol and I'm pretty AMAZED HOW everything goes! Thank you PHO hut & Grill! You are the Bomb! Comming back...

Came here and tried their P1 pho noodle soup (rare steak, brisket, flank steak, tendon and tripe) and shrimp spring rolls.

P1 pho noodle soup: Portion size was perfect. Enjoyed the various pieces of meat. Weren't over cooked. Broth was good. Could be a little stronger with more in depth flavor. Did seem a little diluted. For the most part, the noodles are slightly separated for you, as opposed to the "brick" noodles that most places do. We all know it's pre packaged but still. The side vegetables were fresh.

The shrimp rolls were excellent. Reminded me of it being homemade. They had the right proportions of each ingredient and the peanut sauce was excellent. The dish comes with 2 rolls cut into a total of 4 pieces.

Service was great. Very attentive to water level. It is a small place so seating is somewhat limited. You can easily fit a group of 4 people. I would say service can be slow at times if they are busy because you just don't need that many people to work the front of the house. Parking is a non issue. They accept cc (including amex).
