Delicious crepes and the staff is always kind and friendly. A lot of the one star reviews seem to be from people who don’t understand that the crepes they serve here are not traditional French crepes. They serve crepes in a Japanese style meaning the crepe is crispier than a French style crepe and uses a lot of whipped cream. I find this style more delicious as it feels more full compared to a French crepe. If you are planning to try a crepe, please be patient with the staff. They usually have 1 employee at a time who does transactions and cooking themselves. I’ve only ever had to wait 15 minutes at most for mine and that was when there were three other customers in front of me. The prices are more than fair and you’ll find them cheaper than other crepe eateries and they give you far more for what they charge you. I’ve never been able to finish one in one sitting and I’ve got a major sweet tooth! I recommend this little shop and wouldn’t pay any mind to any of the one star reviews as they seem to only be based on poor rumors or impatient people who don’t understand the type of food they are ordering. The strawberry Nutella cream in a cone shape is my...
Read moreI cane to J crepes for the first time woth my family. The guy working was very polite and hardworking. You can tell he was doing everything he could making the food and taking orders. This could be a 5 star place but the reason for the 3 stars is not because of the food or the customer service. It is purely for the company itself. I worked in the restaurant service industry for 20 years, doing everything from dishes to managing restaurants It upsets me to see companies exploding their workers. The restaurant was very busy and they only had one guy working, and they are lucky he is an extremely polite and had a very positive attitude, regardless of the fact that he was buried in orders all by himself. This is borderline exploration. I hate companies that exploit their employees to maximize profit. I might give this place another try just because the services was still good and the food is good. But if I see the same situation where is only one employee working during busy hours, I will never come back again. I will not support a business that has poor ethics towards...
Read moreTried the brulee crepe, the initial experience was pretty good but it was way too sweet to really enjoy. There was an entire slice of cheesecake wrapped in the crepe, along with custard, whipped cream, and ice cream. If you don't mind risking diabetic ketoacidosis, this may be worth a try. At least the service was good and the workers were friendly.
Edit: after watching the Instagram post again, looks like they briefly do show you everything inside the crepe, so that's on me. Changed from 2 to 4 stars, what you get is what is shown. Ultimately though, it's still way too sweet for what I would expect from an Asian...
