This is the biggest rip off Taco shop I have ever visited in my life. All I wanted was a carnitas burrito with only cheese. Every single other taco shop I have ever visited will substitute the cheese (they charge .75cents) for the guacamole (they charge 1.00 dollar). Guacamole is always more expensive and there's no reason they can not substitute it.
Secondly, since they wouldn't make it meat and cheese only, I requested the quac on the side since I have to pay for it anyways - and they charge $1.00 for on the side. For a tiny plastic cup they charge $1.00. Biggest rippof of a taco shop I've ever seen.
Then I realize the sign that they also charge $.10 per bag. I eat at taco shops daily, usually 2+ times per day. I've never encountered a taco shop that charges for bags. Not only that, the bags are not reusable bags nor reinforced like they are supposed to be - their one time use flimsy trash bags and they still have the audacity to charge for their subpar sunquality bags when I can get a reusable reinforced bag right next store to them for $.10 extra (actually worth the $.20 cents).
When I asked if she charged me for the bag she said yes and I told her I don't want it I already have one from next door (green cat liquor) and she removed the bag, refunded the $.10 And I watched her throw the bag away in the trash.
That should hopefully sum up their idea of customer service. As for their actual product: I live 2 minutes away by car. And my Carnitas was barely warm. Typical of most taco shops you'll find an over abundant amount of quacamole - I usually open them up to dump some out (I wanted cheese only remember) - there was a very thin line of quac. The cheese was even less.
Idk what kind of owner believes they can run a business like this, but I strongly recommend not ever spending your money here as it's a rip off, poor quality food, and an even better taco shop is located less than a mile away from these overpriced thieves.
The only reason I'll be coming back here is to provide feedback on if they've become a more honest business or if they intend to continue ripping off their customer base. We can make the change by not eating there.
Don't buy from them. 1 star is disingenuous today the least. More...
Read moreVery rude cashier, an old lady took my order and I specifically asked if they have lengua Taco, she answered yes, so I placed an order for 2 lengua Taco and a Carne Asada fries for me and my son. After a short period of waiting, I heard the cashier calling the order for a cabeza/cabesa taco and the carne asada fries, at first I did not respond since I knew I ordered for a lengua taco not cabesa. She kept on calling out for the order so I finally asked her if she meant Lengua Taco? She answered No they don’t have lengua although its similar texture and that they’re both soft. I reason out with her that I specifically asked for Lengua and also asked her if the older lady who took my order speaks english no offense. The rude cashier answered in a condescending tone” she speaks perfect english”. If that’s the case why is my order wrong. Never wrote a review before in my life but this experience is really sad. That is misleading, scheming just to...
