Today is the last time I walk in this place, I used to love coming here when it was NY Pizzeria, the owner made u feel like family, but when it changed to Concepto, so did the vibe. I can go on about all the things wrong with this place; food, service, atmosphere etc. But it doesn't matter, I found a new place off Home Ave today called Peppoli's, where they know and understand that pizza is really about the people and the love that goes into it. The lady there was so nice I felt like I was at home with my mom. But then like, everytime I walk into Concepto I dont ever feel love, which tells me no love goes into the pizza, which could explain why the sauce may taste like the way it does. Either way, at the end of the day to sum up everything I have to say; I never leave this place happy or excited even after I get a chance to eat their food (certain food not always available). Dont get me wrong like its decent, it not terrible pizza but it could be so much better....Not here to bash, I've dealt with this place since the re-grand opening, just giving my true honest critique of my whole entire experience. Good luck to...
Read moreWe found this little place after a long day of work. My kids and I were just out of church and my oldest had a pizza craving. I figured I could have a little date night with the kiddos for the memories. So we headed over here and the kids had a good time. The service was amazing. We couldn't decide on the type of pizza, so we got the slices: cheese, Spanish, margarita, and buffalo chicken. They were all so good and super affordable. It's not overpriced and they even have rewards points and a little card for a free large pizza after you purchase a few large pizzas. It's super clean too, which I always look for because I used to work in the food industry and some places are just better to avoid. Oh and almost forgot, we all split a garlic knot with cheese inside and it was just as amazing! Only thing I would suggest is adding a Salvadoranian chorizo and jalapeño pizza. But that's probably just me with my...
Read moreI absolutely don't understand the 4.8 stars this has, but that's why I tried them. My wife wanted to order from a chain and I talked her out of it because I don't like them. Saw reviews for Concepto which talked about how crisp the crust is and how good the pizzas are, so we spent over $80 on three 18 pizzas and they were absolutely not worth it. I'd rate them between 2 and 3 stars but I went with 2 because we didn't even want to finish them. Crusts were NOT crisp, they were soft and chewy and bland. Pizzas looked nice but had barely any sauce, really couldn't taste that, and barely any cheese. Even reheated in a frying pan (when many pizzas are better than the first time) these were bland and not worth eating. Very disappointing. Maybe we just hit them on a bad day? Regardless, there is too much good pizza out there to even...
