JT's Tavern — Restaurant in San Diego

I used to go here frequently and let me say the people who work here are unprofessional. There is always drama between the bartenders and security guards at this place. On Monday October 23rd I ordered food and had my number in front of where I was siting. When I came back to my seat my number was gone and my food was in front of people who were eating it. The bartender Remy took the food from the ladies and put it in front of my friend and I. So I said no thank you I do not want food that's been eaten by someone else. He looked irritated so he offered to make more food, which I already waited over 30 minutes for, so told him no thank you I don't want food. He then started yelling at me and said he was done with my sh* and to get the f* out. I barely drank any of my cider and not once did I raise my voice to him or use profanity. After I paid for my drink he threw my money and card on the counter and yelled at me again to get the f** out. The night manager Graysen stood there and did nothing because she just got out of the ER and didn't wanna deal with anything. I then called the bar the next day to speak to a manager or the owner about the situation and they wouldn't even tell me when they were available or how to contact them. All I wanna say is that it is not professional to take what he is going through out on anyone, especially while he is working. I don't appreciate the drama and if you want a pleasant place to karaoke and have a drink do...

I went here to meet up with a guy I thought liked me. Then his drunk friend asked me to karaoke and i agreed. The DJ lady was amazing I was vibing. Apparently I danced with the wrong local. Immediately she attacked, tried to get me kicked out when I actually didn’t know what I did wrong. So.. I figure it out and the bouncer leads me to her so i can figure out what upset her. She proceeds to speak disrespectful to me and demands an apology because “I’m not a local” and I touched her hair on “accident” so I apologize and she then starts to demean me in front of her “friends” then asks me to shake her hand.

I will never shake the hand of a dirty uneducated drunk little girl after cussing me out. So when I didn’t she wants me kicked out Again so instead I left when she tried to fight me.

The only person in this place that was a genuine person was an amazing woman that sang with me.

I would recommend this place just so this “entitled” little old girl can be put in her place finally.

One of my favorite go to spots for a good night. The staff here is always friendly. The lady with the long hair, fair skin and large breast that bar tends is super cool. Just make sure you have your ID. She will make sure you leave if you don't. Drink specials are cheap. Wings are .50 cent on Mondays and they are good wings. No Joke. I'm very picky about my wings and this place has good wings. I feel they should market that more. They removed the tree on the back patio that was magical in every right. It really gave the outside it's on feel and made it super cozy. It's under new management to what I hear. I guess they feel the decor was to dated or something. In my opinion, I don't like the new direction that they are going with all the white fences and concrete. Whatever though. It's their bar, just hate seeing something so beautiful get destroyed.
