I just wanted to let it be known when you get a pizza from this place. It is the real deal! I tend to go to one specific pizza place, because fast food pizza places are pretty lame in my opinion. They make it for the masses not with love. This was my first experience coming to Lefty’s I’ve already shared my stuffed pizza with two people whom also thoroughly enjoyed it. My family is from Chicago so we know all about deep dish pizzas. I called and asked how long it took. He told me 40 minutes I wasn’t even skeptical because that’s typically how long a pie cooks in Chicago. It was delivered, and I was so happy that it literally felt like it weighed a ton 😂(which means it was loaded with nothing but great toppings)‼️ Then I could only get through one slice of the pepperoni, Italian beef and sausage stuffed pizza before I was super full! When I called, the guys were very nice, I told him my name and he let me know all about which choices and to go look online for more options. He let me know he was glad that I decided to try them out. They were very professional, the pizza was delivered to me in about an hour m, hot cheesy, gooey and freaking delicious.
I recommend anyone to go to this place not just because the customer service is stellar but because the food is as well. Big props to you guys. Thank you again.
I will be back to try many other things with my family and friends...
Read moreThey’ve got some yummy food! We spent about 15$ per person and the parking here is HARD to find!!!! There were a few parking spots by the restaurant but only a few… We ended up parking in the Jack in the box and walked to this restaurant 🥲 This place has indoor and outdoor seating but both were tiny, probably 12 people for outdoor and 6 can fit in the indoor seating area. And there was no AC inside so we decided to move to outdoor seating to get some air. This place is well decorated with some cute stickers and pizza decorations. I love the open window that you can see through the kitchen while they make your pizza! We had two slices of the deep dish pizza (pepperoni and sausage flavor), loaded fries and a C.B.G.B. aka the Italian roasted beef sub. The pizza was decent but we were really impressed with the loaded fries and C.B.G.B. The loaded fries were really good! The blue cheese and some fat pieces of bacon 🥓 were the highlights but the size of the fries was a little small.
The crispy garlic bread in the C.B.G.B. was my favorite but you gotta eat it fast before it gets soaked in the sauce! The beef was tender and flavorful!! Highly recommend!!
The staff was really nice, helpful and friendly! She gave good recommendations as well! We really enjoyed...
Read moreI consider myself a NY pizza person. But This is a really great pizza place for some legit Chicago-style pie. My husband ordered the Southie specialty pie comma and we ate it right up. I used to work with some owners from Chicago, and they would send us is really good Chicago style pizzas, and there was nothing like them in the world. The pizza here was just as good.
The pie we ordered had a tiny bit of spice to it, but I love those pepperoncini type of things that made it a little Tangy. Tons of thick cheese, covered in fresh tomatoes, and the crust was flaky like a good pie should be. Sigma Pi costs just around $30, for about 6 slices, but each slice is as filling as two pieces of pizza. My husband is a really good eater, and only had 3 slices.
We brought our 15 month old little boy, and they were really accommodating to him, and even had a little toy kitchen set that they brought outside mirror table for him to play with. Super kid-friendly which is really awesome. The staff was great, and the atmosphere was super simple and casual.
It's important to note that this specialty Chicago-style pizza we ordered will take 35 minutes so either calling in ahead or being happy with sitting for a bit is to...
