on Tuesday my friend and I went into to this McDonald's and we were ordering together so I let her go first. she asked for a regular normal McChicken and he said buttermilk or artisan, we were both really confused and asked the difference, the guy said he didn't know so she, not knowing that it wasn't a McChicken said buttermilk. but the difference between a buttermilk chicken sandwich and a McChicken is about 3 or 4 dollars. she also asked for a small fry and then I asked for a large fry. so not only did I feel cheated out of my money, the guy also forgot our small fry... we go stand by the area you wait for your food at, and the woman behind the counter, very angrily, said "what is your order". I told her the McChicken, small fry, and large fry. she said there was no small fry. and then I asked myself why then was my order over $9. I checked my receipt and that's when I realized that I didn't get the small fry I ordered and that I had to pay $3-$4 extra dollars for something I didn't even want. The woman, the entire time we interacted, was extremely rude and short with me without reason. My other friend who was with us but didn't order with us, when asked what he ordered from the woman, he didn't even remember what everything was called because he ordered a few things, and he didn't know because the guy at the register didn't, for some reason, give him his receipt. the woman was again very rude to him. But I'm also not sure why she kept asking what our orders were when they were on the screen right behind her and she clearly knew what we had ordered because she was able to correct me when I had said small fry and there was no small fry. I didn't want to react in a rude way and argue with the employees so we took our food and left. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating. and this is not the first negative experience I've had there. but it is the...
Read moreDON'T EAT AT THIS LOCATION!!! Unsanitary and disgusting!!! If I could give a negative rating I would!!! After ordering my food I went to the lady's room to wash my hands and what I saw was extremely disgusting. I saw a young female employee exit the smelly bathroom stall after using it and she walked right past me to exit the restroom without washing her hands! So I said to her "Aren't you going to wash your hands?" And she just gave me a rude snobby look and exited the restroom. I left the restroom; went up to the front counter and was disgusted to see the same female employee handling the hamburgers without any gloves. I immediately canceled my order and asked the cashier to please get the manager. The cashier said the manager was on lunch and would be back soon. After waiting for a long time I couldn't wait any longer and had to leave. However, I will be filing a complaint because handling food without washing your hands or using gloves is how germs and diseases are spread! I was hesitant to out the female employee on this review but people should have the right to know who is preparing their food. The female employee was a young overweight hispanic woman with dark hair and a name tag that said Ann. I won't eat at this McDonalds as long as it continues to employ unprofessional and...
Read moreThe manager (white Hispanic female with white sweater black horizontal stripes) was really rude yelling at an elderly Asian male caregiver and his group of Down's syndrome adults. It was fairly obvious that both parties' did not speak English as a first language as they switched to Spanish in between serving customers.
Whether it was a language barrier (Mexican vs Asian) and understanding each other's thick English accent, yelling louder and repeating what you said and mispronounced in your imperfect English isn't going to help anyone understand better.
The menu items are posted on the screen behind you to resort to pointing to identify the menu item then using hand gestures to represent a large, medium, small drink or sides.
It was in bad taste to repeatedly yell at a group of adults that clearly have Down's Syndrome and are unable to communicate clearly but hand gestures and pointing have personally helped me communicate effectively with people that have zero knowledge of English.
it's not the general public's fault that fast food restaurants are rated systematically by their drive thru dwell time based upon sensors for cars, walk in customers shouldn't be rushed or pressured it this manager was more worried about her drive thru times being quick for their...
