I am usually a live and let live kind of person but these tacos were just not good. We bought 10 tacos we tried all of them except the mixed taco. The meat was very dry and not flavorful! With the exception the chicken thigh meat. That was not dry, they did a good job of cooking it tenderly, BUT it just wasn't very flavorful! It just tasted like cooked chicken thigh. It's not like we went when they weren't busy and just managed to get some old meat, it was Friday night! My partner and I were VERY disappointed. Heck she didn't even finish her tacos! How bad is a taco when a hungry person prefers not to eat it! I slathered mine with salsa and a chilli sauce I had at home, they were okay.

Mind you, occasionally a taco shop has one meat that they are not great at preparing. I've been to a Bertos taco shack where between the carne asada and the al pastor one of them was a little dry. BUT the steak, the pork chop, AND the al pastor were ALL dry and not tender and not flavourful.

This food truck is definitely under rated!!!! Just tried at the MiraMesa location. They are there on the weekends where Best Buy is in the back area of the lot. By the goodwill donation. My husband and I tried the tacos (chicken and steak) along with the asada fries! 10/10. I mean it. Salsas were also super delicious. They have unique flavors and Mexican authentic taste. I have been on a hunt for authentic Mexican tacos and finally found the place. Sundays they have birria 😌 can’t wait to come try.
