I gave 3 stars because the owner followed my request to do the nails the "right" way instead "their" way. I had gel manicure, wanted to do the same style. However, after removing the very top color, technician wanted to fill the gap between the cuticle and the remaining gel layer with powder. I stopped it and requested the gel manicure. Basically what is happening, if they don't remove the gel carefully to the nail base, and keep filling in the gap with powder, eventually it's a powder base nails with the gel top. They called it "different techniques". I call it cheap and fast. Besides, the quality of the gel isn't the top. I came to them with 5 weeks old gel that was still glowing, no chipping. Now, coming to the end of 3rd week with their gel manicure, I can tell the difference. Today's gel manicure is already dull, chippy on the sides that were sick. So, my summary, for that price will not go back. Sorry guys, y need to improve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to US nails out of convenience, since I live right across the street, I donāt know if I came at the wrong time but the moment I walked in I saw the place pretty dirty but for it to be a small place I can understand that when they are busy it can be harder to clean. The lady that did my nails hurt me a lot, she used a drill to remove my dip power but it was burning so bad. Iāve done my nails several times before at other salons and never has it burned on every nail and I told her that she was hurting me but she didnāt even make a remark or apologize. When she was finalizing the shape of my nails she burned along my cuticle and left me irritated and raw, with the drill. I pretty sure she didnāt lower the speed and or change the drill head the entire time. Im not sure Iāll come again but I hope they pay closer attention instead of trying to throw more things for clients to do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI chose a simple French tip, since I was going to paint them at home. I was in and out within an hour of getting there at 9AM. The French tip was 63.00 USD including a 10.00 tip. When I got home, I reshaped them and added the orange color with the gems. I don't even want to know what that would've cost me. The nail tech whose name I think was Tammy, was nice and made me laugh a couple of times, but mostly we sat in silence while they occasionally said something to one another in a different language. I watched the rerun of the Obama 911 In Memory event and thought about my grocery list. The place itself is pretty common. There wasn't anything fancy or outstanding to report. Everyone seemed nice and competent. The manicure tools could've been a bit more sanitary for my linking, but I'm no health agency. All in all a 7/10 rating for the French tip...
