Sidny's Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in San Diego

I used to come in 2-3 times a month even more some months, but now the customer service has gone to trash, especially with the older middle eastern looking man, usually when you order food to-go it comes in a bag so you can take it “to-go” seems like every time I’ve ordered anything to-go they just hand me a box with napkins on top, having the bags right where they box the food and knowing it’s an order to-go. And when you ask for a bag since it’s a to-go order they make a face like it’s coming out of their hourly wage. The only person that I feel is kind and has great customer service and is a good person there is the older Hispanic looking gentleman who cooks in the back and you can see him in the kitchen when you walk in. Ever since I discovered this place 4 weeks ago it's been the only place I've eaten out since... Everything about it is just great. They don't cut any corners; the ingredients are high quality and fresh, the food tastes great, is relatively healthy, and they have paper to-go boxes rather than plastic. The veggie and chorizo breakfast burritos are sublime. The rapport among staff seems good and the staff is friendly with customers. In our area, I feel like every restaurant feels like a chain and not personal, but this gives a small town feel where the staff take pride...

Found myself with the dilemma of feeding 40+ in a 2 hour time frame. Googled Sydney's and OMG! Not only was the customer service superb but 40 hungry people were satisfied. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty, the salad was to die for and the pricing was awesome. Yes, I'm sold, Sydney's is now my main caterer. Thank you Satish, Danielle and the rest of the staff for making my life easier.
