I understand gel nail polish can be tedious to remove, that being said, IT IS NEVER OK TO SCRAPE IT OFF. Even using tools like a nail drill should be used AFTER soaking the nails in acetone either in a bowl or individually wrapped in aluminum foil for 15-20 minutes. At least 10 min!!
I was looking at the colors they had trying to pick one and when I realized…long story short my nails are paper thin. I decided to not get a gel manicure after that because they will very obviously break most likely within the next couple of days.
I don’t know the name of the person I dealt with but on top of ruining my natural nails (while talking on the phone) being EXTREMELY RUDE, and telling me that “Soaking is only for dip powder”, she accused me of trying to get out of paying $10 for the gel removal!!! O.o

Normally, manicurists will trim your cuticles and hangnails, that wasn't the case for me. My nails are quite long, and they didn't trim my nails either.
