Starbucks is your ideal flavourful gourmet coffee. The effort put into these concoctions is embedded with its value - the common but expensive, robust sort of experience.
Sometimes, not ofttimes, few but major facets come in more than other facets, like an overwhelming taste of milk, runniness due to warm water being admixed into your frappuccino(e)s, or too little of the featured ingredients that was meant to make the first sip a merry one. We all eventually get it, from everywhere.
I go primarily for their coffee blends. They've got a good variety going. I wouldn't go to Starbucks for a quick pick-me-up for, as I believe would be a grave mistake for anyone, coming here everyday would in the end consume a lot of money for something that is more likely to give you a sugar crash than a sugar high. Just make your coffee at home. I would go to Starbucks for dessert, considering that their menu items usually contain a lot of sugar.
Their pastries are not the best. They are usually dry or a little stale.
But the customer service is phenomenal. These people remember you, catch onto your patterns, listen to you and are committed to...
Read moreWalked in and got a very robotic good Morning. They're trying to be friendly but it's very forced. Ordered a simple Light roast coffee with room for cream. Again a very simple order. Almost 10 minutes later they put a coffee down and didn't even call the name written on the cup. Two people behind me who ordered something to eat as well as a coffee got there order first and walked out. I had to approach the counter with the coffee that was just set down and asked if that possibly for me, Tanya? They had a version of my name written on the cup. Starbucks is not my first choice. But I had a gift card. Their coffee is so-so and lacks uber richness. Your first sip of coffee in the morning should give you that "awww...." moment. Starbucks doesn't deliver that satisfaction.
If you're in Portland, OR you have to get you coffee ☕️ at Portland Roasting. Rich and strong!!! And genuinely friendly. If you're in Honolulu, HI, go to Honolulu Coffee Company. Fantastic coffee with lots of Aloha. In Tuson, AZ, Crave Coffee Bar is a must!! Superb coffee and fun snacks. Why is the GP addicted to Starbucks?? I just don't...
Read moreTooooooooo noisy!!!! The frequency level is definitely way above the allowed or recommended before it leads to the cause of hearing loss. The blenders are always running, since it's a drive thru. Most coffee drinks now a days are frozen. Obviously Starbucks designers do not sit and enjoy a coffee, do computer work or college homework. The computer bench is directly in front of the blender. Even ear phones aren't enough.
The blender needs to have a silencing case for it. I know it may be a hassle, but OSHA should require it.
I gave it 3 stars for the shaded out door seating, indoor seating along far side of wall with table and benches with backs on them, the small individual computer tables that are higher than ordinary tables and the Rock and Roll music!
I will Not go to this Starbucks very often because of the Blenders!!!!! They RUIN the entire...
