Manager is Rude. I made safety suggestion to the nice barista that answered the drive up. The result is the manager named Maurice( or Bill or whomever because they refuse to give me his name) coming up to my window after I'm already about to drive away and he said "sorry that's starbucks" rudely and when I tried to respond he walked away in in the middle of my sentence. So I pulled around went inside and kindly asked the barista for his name. Again, she was nice and she told me Bill and said she didn't know who the store manager is. She asked if I wanted to speak to Bill and I said that was fine. He told me he wouldn't talk while making drinks which is BS because I'm a trained barista and worked for the busiest starbucks in the district and I would never ignore a customer and he did it twice. I told him I didn't want to wait I just wanted to know the managers name. He said I am the manager. I said ok what's your name? And that's where he cut me off again, told me he wants to know what store I work at, loudly announced to the guests in line that they were gonna have to stop making everybody's drinks because this lady wants to argue. I was not in there to argue. All he had to was give me the managers card and I could've walked out. So again, rude to me, then unnecessarily involved other customers. He could have just given me the info I needed but he'd rather it escalate to a scene.
At this point I am upset because this random guy was rude to me at the window, rude when came in calmly to get the info my voice was upset in tone but by no means yelling. There was honestly no getting anywhere with him. Then he he said he was gonna call the PMO on me after everything.
So heres the lesson, if you feel wronged by the starbucks manager at MCAS Miramar he will not only be rude and not help you but he'll threaten to call the police on you to for wanting to...
Read moreApril 2023: I stopped here to get coffee and wait until I had to go meet someone. Service was great, especially when they compensated me after they found out that they did not have the food item I ordered. Friendly atmosphere with everyone. Food and coffee are nothing special since you can get everything at other Starbucks. They finally started taking pre-orders from the Starbucks app, which is more convenient when time is short. I'll come back when it's convenient.
September 2023 update: Came back here to pick up a mobile order . They were out of some of the food items, which I had to ask about. One server tried to compensate me for the sold out food items with other items, but we found out that the items were refunded. Although I couldn't verify at that time. I had to reorder on the spot. They also messed up my trenta cream cold brew drink, which I had to ask for three times until it was fixed. The overall visit took almost 30 minutes until we got everything I ordered. I’ve been here many times since its re-opening and everytime I order ( around late morning or early afternoon) they take forever to make my drink or warm up my pastry the fact that there are 6 or more of them working - 2 or 3 on the drive thru and the remaining were just walking around, talking and chillin at the back instead of taking care the other orders.
I’ve been to other starbucks places either on base or off base, but this one has the worse customer service. I can understand their slow service if due to understaffing but this one has enough employees. It is a shame because other starbucks place with less employees have better and faster customer service.
