Sunright Tea Studio - Rancho Peñasquitos — Restaurant in San Diego

I was so excited to try Sunright in SD for the first time last Wednesday. The place was clean, and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba at 75% sweetness, which was pretty good. However, the Blueberry Frostie was tasty but overly sweet, even at 75% sweetness. Giving it another chance today, got the Matcha Oolong Milk Tea and the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea, both at 75% sweetness. While the Matcha one was good, it still leaned on the sweeter side. The White Peach flavor, unfortunately, was overwhelmingly sweet, almost like 500% sweetness, and lacked the white peach flavor. It seemed like they used the wrong syrup, possibly brown sugar or hokkaido. Unfortunately, I only realized this when I got home, and even adding extra ice couldn't balance it out. I'd like to return, but I'm unsure about the right sugar...

I am personally a big fan of Sunright Tea Studio and I was so excited to finally see the SD location is now open. However, the sunright fruit tea taste very off at this location. The flavor is completely wrong and I am confident to say this because I have been to most other SoCal locations, as well as the one in Las Vegas and always order the fruit tea. The taste is very consistent across all stores except only this location. They have got it couple times only. The only reason for this I can think of is that some staffs are not following the recipe. Overall very disappointed. I'd rather drive all the way north to Irvine and buy 5 drinks back for a whole week like I used...

3/28 Tried fruit tea again, a lot better this time. Flavour was good, sweetness is a bit too sweet this time, wait time not too bad. 3/22 Had the fruit tea, tasted super off unlike the other locations up north. Had a bitter taste like the fruit was left in the tea for too long. Sweetness was also off, usually get 75% sugar but the drink was bland like 25% sweetness. Service was good tho, ordered online 15 minutes prior and drink was ready when I got there.
