Trujillo's Taco Shop — Restaurant in San Diego

Drove by many times and smelled the aroma of taco shop while pumping gas. The smell haunted me and after a glowing review took my family there. Parking is very limited and we found one next to the over piled trash bin. My daughter worried there trash would fall out and hit the car. Walked into music blaring so loud I sat my kids furthest away from the speakers. At entrance I had my reservations due to the lack of cleanliness of the restaurant but ordered anyways. AFter the trip to the restroom pretty clear I have seen and smelled much better bathrooms in a truck stop. Then came the food at the tune of 30 for over salted Carne asada and runny bean burritos. SALSA FORET ABOUT IT. The place was pretty packed with students I'm just wondering are they from out of state because this place has encouraged me to see the restaurant rating. Our table was wiped down by an employee who served our food who pushed the food remnants to the floor. Ahh now I see. As we left we saw this same employee with a ladder jumping up and down in the trash bin outside. Umm needless to say won't be going back EVER. My nose has faithfully failed...

I love this place, the food is very delicious but whenever I grab food at night it is not the same, it does not taste as fresh, there is always something I tell you about my experience today, my husband ordered a California burrito instead of asada Adovada no pico no wacamole he said only adovada, fries, and cheese my husband specified twice, I went to pay my order I asked the cashier if she had taken the order well she said yes and she repeated it and as a result they gave us Adovada with wacamole no fries, I asked for a sigma nu of Asada and it came with a drink and they have always given me a can of soda this time the cashier told me that if she gave the can I was going to be charge extra🤷‍♀️ I complained on the phone and the cashier tell that if I wanted a refund I had to return at that time with the burrito, please I have two babies, I ordered not to cook and I have to return right now to get my money back ???? and my gas and my miles ?? 🤷‍♀️ Well this was my February 14 at...

I wanted to love this little hole in the wall. Nice woman behind the counter, but it just went downhill from there. The place was empty but they still managed to get our order wrong a few different ways. Kept forgetting what drinks we ordered, forgot our rolled tacos, etc. My vegetarian meal had chicken in it ... twice. One of the times my cheese enchiladas came out full of freezing cold unmelted cheese, and a piece of chicken in it. Really? They must not keep their ingredients separated very well. Finally receiving our proper food, I can only say the food itself was fair. I'm sure the drunk college kids like this place because well, they're drunk. LOL

After a visit to the restroom, my friend said "I sure hope I don't get sick from eating here". I honestly thought that was a little uncalled for. There's no way to ever prove where you get sick from something so who knows, but let's just say my friend ended up in the ER from...
