Updated: The manager refused to do the refund actually, until there were other customers waiting and watching us. She afraid of affecting the business, not trying to solve the problem. It’s not the refund, it’s the gift card that I suggested. I don’t really care about that few dollars for the dried mango, it is the attitude I got back from the manager upsets me. The refund is what I supposed to get back for the dried mango that is going to expire in 4 days. The manager kept thinking I’m dishonesty. Her attitude was rude and supercilious. I was responsible for what I said, including this review. I never felt satisfied for the whole case. I won’t judge your management, like your manager judged me. I’m just a normal fan of boba milk tea, I usually care about the quality not the customer service, until they deceive me and question my character. If you were the customer who were treated with a mixture of ignorance and indifference, would you come back again? Sorry, I won’t. I’m really sorry while I’m being too honest.
Worst customer service ever. I won’t be going to this Wushiland Boba again. I used to go to the one in Clairemont. And I happened to visit this because it’s near by. However, I was mistaken.
I got the dried mango on 7/22 and then I found it’s almost expired(7/26). But the cashier girl didn’t clear the date of manufacture (8 months ago) and has repeatedly stressed that it’s pretty fresh. *Not sure what FRESH means to this store. * The point is that the dried mango was not on the shelf, I can’t read the label or anything.
When I tried to ask the manager for help, she replied with an bad attitude and doubted my sincerity. There was no respect to be seen. Customer service ....non - existent.
1 Star for the ridiculous manager. I fully understand the current situation of COVID-19. Glad that I have other options for...
Read moreI visited this store location on 07/23/2020. My friend and I went to the store to return a bag of dried mango that is expiring in 4 days. When we bought this dried mango on 07/22/2020, the clerk didn't tell us anything about the almost expired product, but only stressing about the freshness of it and we should eat it in 4 days for the freshest result. The girl clerk had a little conversation with the manager in the back before she communicate with us. I'm not sure that if the manager asked her to organize her wordings in that way or if she not understanding what it means by fresh. It is a product produced 8 months ago and the texture of it is hard as rock. When we go to return the dried mango the next day, the manager at first refused to do a refund. She communicated with my friend and questioned my friend about why not asking about the production date before purchasing. WHAT????? So it is customer's responsibility to ask for the production date for every product you sell in store to avoid buying almost expiring product unawarely? I believe it is a form of branding and about our trust in Wushiland Boba, that's why we didn't ask, while the manager destroyed our trust towards your brand. In addition, the manager never apologized for our terrible experience, but keep saying "沒關係", meaning "it's ok". So did we do anything wrong or offended her, which caused her to tell us it's ok??? At last, she refunded us with a gift card reluctantly. The dried mango is just $6, while what I care about is the attitude of the staffs. There're a lot of different options for boba milk tea, and we choose Wushiland is because we have trust in this brand. That's...
Read moreThis boba spot is a classic one of the go to’s every time I’m in Taiwan, so naturally I had to check out the UTC location. Happy to report: same delicious taste, just on different soil. Been here multiple times and honestly, you can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu.
The tea? Legit. Tastes like real tea bold, fragrant, satisfying. None of that watered-down, overly sweet stuff. Just be warned: the sugar level here in the States feels a little higher than what you’d get in Taiwan. If you usually go for 50% back home, try 30% here for a similar vibe.
Now if you’re into the new wave of ultra dessert boba drinks with mochi, brûlée, and all the toppings this might not hit that same itch. This place is more about quality tea with clean flavors, not sugar bombs.
Only downside? Prices are definitely on the higher end compared to other boba joints. But hey, you’re paying for consistency and quality. And sometimes,...
