There's something charming about mom and pop diners where they are the cashier, chef, dishwasher, table busser and waiter/waitress all rolled into two. At Ann's, there's nothing pretentious about the yellowing walls from the greasy food, the faded linoleum floors or the menu in binder plastic sleeves. It feels welcoming. There's no wait time like the other fancy San Francisco brunch spots. You know, the places with the flowers in the food and avocado toast. At Ann's, I was in-and-out within 30 minutes. I had their steak and eggs $17.50 + tax. The toast and hash browns were pre-buttered. I love that. The steak was perfectly cooked with good flavor. Service was excellent.

Great old school/ hole in the wall/ mom and pop spot for breakfast! Besides having some generous portion breakfast, there is so much story here. The couple owners are grandparents of 4 and the great example of hard working immigrants. They came here in the early 80s. They were the 4th-owner of the place. They have been there for 38 years and still enjoying their daily routine.

A place where the locals go for breakfast. We visited for breakfast without reservation and was seated right away. The atmosphere was relaxed and the two owners we’re really friendly. We were served with a smile and the food/drinks arrived in good time. I’d recommend you support the local business if you’re around the area. All the best.

A traditional greasy spoon hole in the wall American breakfast on the 4th of July. Easy, friendly, mom and pop restaurant. It was a short walk from our Air B&B and filled us up for the day’s adventures. We ordered a #3 with two eggs on the side, a #9, a Victor Omelet (sans ham) 2 coffees and an orange juice for $52. Like others said, no doughnuts but we were looking for protein. Plenty of surrounding pastry shops if you’d like a little...

This place serves primary breakfasts. I ordered one of the breakfast specials. It came with 2 eggs, hash brown, sausages or bacon, bread and tea or coffee. I had eggs over easy, hash brown & sausages. The sausages were big. Everything was done right & was very good. Can compare to any of the bigger restaurants. This restaurant is kind of small & tight. Service was good. They refill our coffee & tea without...
