A bar is a bar is a bar... they serve the same drinks, kick out the same well-soaked patrons, and then pointing out how "you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here" at 2am every night.

But Beauty Bar has something special about it. There is a great atmosphere about it, the bartenders and patrons share a connection which otherwise doesn't exist in the more assembly line saloons in the City. The shows they get on certain nights have the extra kick of starving musicians who want to be known for their more pure, unadulterated love of their music. There is usually a great mix of people here and I always have fun.

The drinks are strong and it's a pretty good place to meet up with a larger group of friends if it's early. If it's late in the night forget about seeing much or finding anyone cause it gets pretty crowded.

I came here on a Friday night with a group of girls and we had a BLAST! The music started as retro 60's and some 70's classics but after 11 pm they turned it over to top 40 hits from the last decade! The vibe was mellow and we got there a little early...about 930 pm. They had a special where you could get your nails painted and a top shelf drink for about $15.
