I will never set foot in this place again, ever. So I went in today to buy a couple of spring bars for my wife's watch . Not having the watch, I was merely going to buy them and install them myself as it's a pretty easy process. I didn't know the exact size so I said why don't I buy the 10mm and 11mm bars (2 each) to make sure I have the right ones. For this I was charged $10 per spring bar for a total of $40.00. I was literally dumbfounded, asking "why so much ?" and I was informed by the nice young lady that that is what they charge to install them which isn't unreasonable per se, for the labor. Having a lot on my mind these day's it was only after getting back to my truck and dog when I realized "wait a minute, THEY DIDN'T INSTALL THEM!". To whomever owns this place let tell you a story: The past 3 times I needed spring bars for my one of my watches I went into Seregin's at Union Square, Tourneau located in Westfield Mall, and this little tiny shop on 22nd and South Van Ness called House of Seiko and would you believe that not a single place would charge me, not one. So I bought a strap at Seregin's, thanked Tourneau, and insisted I give the tiny old man at House of Seiko $20 which I had to just leave there since he wouldn't take it. While you guys charged me a labor rate that wasn't even done. What you did is tantamount to going into Auto Zone to buy brake shoes and then being charged to install them too, which they don't even do! FWIW, OEM Rolex spring bars are $10 for a pair yet your selling generic ones for double that and when not doing the labor of installing them you charge for it anyway which makes one wonder how difficult it is to be your accountant? That poor soul... Hopefully people reading this will see the names of these other stores and take their business elsewhere which will cost you more than the $39.50...
Read moreWalked in today and asked for a change of watch battery for one I never wore yet. The guy was welcoming and offered to change it for 15 bucks. I waited around 15 min. After that the guy told me he could not do the work as the back was really hard to open. And as I see the back it had several scratches on it. I asked what happened and he said maybe I did some scratches but you can go to Ken Jewerly as they have the correct tools to open it. I was shocked but I know some people would not take responsibility of their acts. I confirmed that today. It is not enough to be kind to customers, you need to be honest and take responsibility of your actions. I am sorry but I would not recommend to bring your...
