Rating a 5 because I think it has great potential to be a great work/study place for a lot of people. Good amount of space, seating (2 floors!), lighting, outlets, free wifi. For some reason, the two times I’ve visited, I haven’t been able to focus well on work but that’s a personal issue I think. Noise levels never got too loud, even though some people come to chat so I wouldn’t say it’s quiet. I’d guess it’s probably more quiet on the 2nd floor though it’s also more dark up there. Notes on food/drink. I got the bagel with egg, cheese, and cream cheese my 2nd visit and enjoyed it! You can’t really go wrong with the bagels. The first time I came was many months ago and I got a lox bagel and a smoothie. The lox bagel was ok. I was deeply unsatisfied with the smoothie. I’d say it was maybe the worst smoothie I’ve ever had because it tasted watery and was not fully blended- there were multiple big chunks of things in there. So the bagels are solid and the smoothies are not. I’m still rating a 5 overall for work/study space potential that I think the people should know about, but I don’t think the food/drink is the best, mostly based on my...
Read moreNice little café that just opened this week! It's great to have this addition to the neighborhood. Support a new business by stopping by and giving it a try! It offers a good selection of beverages, including hot and iced coffee and tea, plus a few canned/bottled options like water and juice. For food, they have bagels, muffins, donuts, scones, and croissants, plus a variety of sandwiches. This place has a great ambience with a beautifully designed interior, including a brightly painted wall with art, mismatched vintage lamps, and lots of plants. The facade has tons of windows, bringing in lots of natural light. The music was different from standard coffee houses, with a selection of chill and catchy Afro-style beats. There are two levels with tons of seating options for individuals or groups of all sizes. The upstairs is a great space for working or reading, and the long natural wood booth in front of the windows downstairs is great for people...
Read moreMe and two friends went to Beluna on a Friday to get some computer work done outside of the house on a WFH day. We got there around 8am when they opened and they had plenty of seating but it did fill up quickly. They have a whole second floor with additional tables/outlets which was awesome. We worked here from 8 am - 2 pm because the vibes were great and we were super productive. I love all the natural light that comes in through the big windows.
The service was great and that extra step of bringing drinks and food to you was really thoughtful.
I ordered the lemon poppyseed loaf and an iced vanilla latte in the morning. Later on I got a cream cheese, sun-dried tomato, cucumber, onion bagel. The latte was just okay, but the bagel was delicious and my favorite thing I ordered! One of my friends got the dirty chai and really enjoyed...
