Buena Vida - A Culinary Triumph in Every Bite (5/5 ⭐️)
Buena Vida delivers an exceptional dining experience that stands out with fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and impeccable presentation. If you're looking for a place where tacos and margaritas transcend the ordinary, this is it.
🌮 Tacos That Set the Bar High
The tacos here are nothing short of phenomenal. Each bite is a perfect harmony of texture and flavor, and the attention to detail in toppings and seasoning is evident.
1️⃣ Grilled Chicken Tacos – The grilled chicken is juicy with a perfect char, topped with crisp cabbage, tangy pickled onions, and fresh cilantro. The balance of acidity and smokiness makes these an absolute must-try. The side of salsa adds just the right amount of heat to enhance, not overpower.
2️⃣ Carnitas & Carne Asada Tacos – Slow-cooked to perfection, the carnitas are rich and flavorful, with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The addition of fresh pico de gallo and a generous dollop of guacamole brings out the depth of the meat’s flavor. The carne asada was equally impressive, with a smoky, grilled essence complemented by bright citrus notes.
🍹 Margaritas - A Masterclass in Mixology
The margaritas at Buena Vida are nothing short of outstanding. The balance between sweet, tart, and tequila-forward flavors is executed masterfully. The salt-rimmed glasses and fresh lime garnish make them as aesthetically pleasing as they are refreshing.

Read moreWe ate last night and both enjoyed our meal but I have the following to say after going although reading the previous reviews.
Your food is good, don't let salty chips be what distracts from the delicious dinner. Chips should never be that salty and something the chef needs to reconsider and take seriously. Possibly offer unsalted options??
Upon arrival the door was open and created a very cold environment and given the time I expected more of a crowd, but it eventually filled up and became cozier. Be aware of the comfort level inside.
Service at first felt off putting and uninviting and initially wanted to leave. Eventually our server did become more engaging and I left wondering if may be its something that can be improved, but overall service was fine and the guys were doing their best and accepted feed back about the chips well.
I could not find certain pricing on the menu for a few items and given the limited menu and how most food is already prepared, having more flexibility with ordering different types of tacos would be a better option for customers who want to enjoy a mixture of options such as being able to have 1 Pastor Taco and the Pibil or mix and match especially given the prices.
The tacos and salsas hands down, DELICOUS! So don't let a few minor changes and feedback ruin a potentially great experience.
The space is beautiful and very inviting and FYI if the door is closed, push on the left cause I couldn't figure that out. LOL.
Thank you guys!!! Carry on and I wish you guys the best and hopefully I get to come back soon and enjoy more delicious...
Read moreComing from Mexico City there are few places I've encountered in the US that are true reminders of home. At a first glance, the restaurant may come off as hipster and its authenticity may be questioned, but I was definitely proven wrong. The habanero salsa was some of the best salsa I've had at a Mexican restaurant in a while. My main complaint is they serve the 3 salsas in not very deep bowls, but other than that they were all beautifully flavored. We had a mango margarita, quesabirria tacos, and carnitas enmoladas, all were a 10/10. I was very skeptical of ordering mole as I have still not been to a restaurant that has good mole, but this was everything I had hoped for. The dish was a bit unconventional in its preparation method - they were crunchy like flautas instead of soft enchiladas, but still amazing. My only suggestion with the quesabirria tacos would be to add more cheese and spread it out more with the meat because it kind of just sank to the bottom at the fold and there didn't seem to be much of it, but still they were delicious. Our server Peter was very attentive as well, so the customer service was nice as well.
It seems like this restaurant is relatively new and I hope they get all the success they deserve. There are absolutely garbage Mexican restaurants in this same price bracket/style that I've been to in Northern California that don't deserve the...
