Pro: it was a short walk away from the event we were attending. the front desk man was accommodating when there was limited parking, and let us park in management's spot. he was friendly enough.
Con: this was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. there was a literal yellow stain which was STILL WET on the right side of the bed that I noticed only bc I was leaning on the bed and wondering why my knees were wet. I informed the front desk, saying it looked and smelled like urine, but he insisted there was no way that was possible as the cleaners had come in after anyone else had been there. I said well you can come see it yourself, it's a large wet spot and is discolored. so he apologized, but said he couldn’t give us another room bc they were completely full. okay, fine. so I ask if he can have someone change the sheets on the bed so we're not literally sleeping in whatever that is. he said yes i'll be right there. he comes about 5 minutes later, and just hands me the sheets, then walks over to the stain. he agrees it's strange, and tells ME to tell "management" when I check out in the morning. I was kind of surprised he didn't offer to change the sheets or have housekeeping change it, but I didn't want to make a fuss so I just took the sheets. when my friend and I got back from our event, we were so exhausted, we ended up just putting the new sheet on top of the old one and slept on top of that and with the one cover blanket. but when we went to sleep, we both noticed the back pillow in between the headboard and the front pillow) was damp. it smelled like some kind of chemical. then, in the morning, after getting out of bed and moving sheets around, we saw that the stain on the first sheet was much larger than we originally noticed - and was very yellow in some places. I smelled it again, and it DEFINITELY smelled like urine. I took more pictures and a video, and as the original front desk guy told me, I showed management in the morning. he apologized, and said "thank you for letting us know" - and that was that. no offer to refund, no discount, nothing. it was dumfounding. I stay in 25-30 hotels a year, and i've never had this happen. so gross.

Read moreWhen I checked in, they gave me keys, I unlocked the door and the room was a mess, the bed was unchanged from the previous guest, pop bottles and coffee cups strewn about, and dirty towels on the floor. The maid service was getting ready to go home for the day. I ask about it at the front desk and he got them back in there to clean and ready the room. The room was to have a refridge and Micrwave. there were 2 fridges in the room and neither of them worked. It took the half and hour to find a replacement and then I tried to turn on the TV. nothing happened. two problems with it, faulty remote and he disconnected the cable trying to move the refrigerator. finally, I'm set. On Sunday it again got to be quitting time for the housekeeping staff and my room still wasn't done. I had to ask everyday to get the bed made, clean towels and the wastebasket emptied. I will give them credit for being helpful and courteous and the hotel was conveniently located. There were no little critters around (bugs) and it was relatively clean. a bit noisy, but I live in a big city so I'm used to that. I just doubt that I'll ever stay at this hotel again. Plus it was expensive, almost $2000.00...
Read moreI stayed at bay bridge inn for four nights. The bed and bathroom was clean. Great water pressure. We had access to a small fridge and microwave. There are touch ups that could be done to improve the esthetics of the room but it certainly served its purpose. The front desk was very friendly and always wants you to come to them if you need anything. They had given us tips that were very helpful. They had given us the courtesy of a late check out from 11:00am to noon and stored our bags while we walked around the city on or final day. Do not take 6th street ever. That being said, it is a 10-15 minute walk to shopping and restaurants. We took a few bus tours which did pick ups at the bay bridge location. If you have a pick up scheduled first thing in the morning, buy snacks the night before. If you are going to use transit to get around, I found the best course was to walk to market street to avoid transfers. The first morning I was woken by the chime that would go off anytime someone would enter or exit the lobby. I got use to this fairly quickly but if you are a light sleeper, best to avoid room 201 as it is directly...
